@Haaziq Mehboob: AFAIK Nokia doesn't support this feature on any of it's phones. None of my nokia handsets did support call time during the call.

I agree, bought my 6230i off E2Save after trying many others. Ive changed it twice now cos the battery only lasts a day! Trying a 3rd one tomorrow! Does anyone else have this problem? Im stuck with E2Save now as they employ a company TMTi "Talk me through it" whos job is to get you to replace it instead of cancelling! Watch out!!!

The battery on this phone is awful. I thought it was a mistake when I recieved 2 batteries with my phone but now I realise it is because the battery lasts as long as a man does in bed

Nokia Mia..
Yes, I absolutely agree with your comments regarding Nokia 7610. It has mono output, it is really a putdown for me because I love to listen to mp3 on the move. Actually, it is you who gave me the assurance to buy Nokia 6230i since you said your phone never give you any problems at all.I am at loss now. Why so many people like to have Nokia 7610? what so good about this phone? Can you tell why i still get a faulty phone from Zitron? though, I have received lots of negative comments regarding Nokia 6230i. What should i do now? should I go for NOkia 6230i or pick other model? Help me!

Oh, and christine, the 7610, by default, does not come with FM Radio. No point having one, coz is doesn't support Stereo output.

Christine, I never had any problems with my 6230i nor the two units of 6230 i bought last time. But since you got the problem, better be safe - if the 7610 is in perfect condition, then go for it. But remember, it's a Smartphone, the menu navigation is different and the phone is slightly bigger. But, I reckon, (I assume you're a lady) it will look good on you... coz 7610 is very feminine. Don't you have other options? Other than Nokia 7610?
Some notes on 7610 (as per my friends feedback): No dedicated volume control (need to assess thru menu) and the real bummer (if you're an mp3 fanatic) - the phone DOES NOT play Mp3 in stereo... only MONO.

Galaxius
the problem about ringtone occurs in my piece aiso and appears to be a software problem.the same thing happens if wallpapers are selected from the mmc.however solution for the present is to move that perticular ringtone/wallpaper from mmc to phone memory and it works fine.

I also have problems with assigning ringtones from the memory card. With a call it is reset to the Nokia tone.
Strangely, it only happens with my two 256 MB MMCs, it works fine with the 32 MB. Also there is no problem as long as the headset is connected.
Since the phone is brand new I wonder if it's a general fault and if it's worth exchanging it for another exemplar? Is there anyone who doesn't have those problems?

Nokia Mia,
This phone has given a big problem when i received for the very beginning-there was not light at all, all black out.So, now i am waiting for my replacement and I have been waiting for a week.Though, I was offered by the shop proprietor to switch to other models of phone like Nokia 6230 or Nokia 7610.Should I stick to my Nokia 6230i or go for Nokia 6230 or Nokia 7610 which is very popular, and can be seen every where you go.Thank you..

Ash,
Video hang: If I use Nokia's 64Mb MMC card, video always hang. But it rarely hangs when I use Apacer 512Mb MMC card. So, Maybe it's the quality of the MMC card, not the phone. Oh, also avoid pressing too many buttons when the video starts. Let it run for a few seconds before pressing anything... (these are my personal observation, so, I cant guarantee anything).
Ringtone: From my learning in 6230, I always put (or Move) the ringtone that I use to the phone memory, NOT the MMC. I never trust the extra'route' of the phone having to go to MMC to select the ringtone because when someone calls, it's a split-second operation. So, always use the phone memory for ringtone.
PC Synch: I can't help on this - too many variables that could fail a PC-link. I did not face this problem thru IR and BT.
