ya the 6230 is pretty cool however myfriend just got a 6230i.i'd advise u to wait for the 6230i.its just too great with 3d menu and its 1.3 mp camera

I was about to buy the 6230 today and then i enquired about the 6230i. The salesman said this new model won't be out in australia until a month or two... are there any aussies out there who have bought one already? he was really pushing the 6230, so i think he may have been trying to get rid of old stock? if it is really coming out in a few months (i can't wait that long!) is the 6230 good value? thanks in advance.

hi every1.got some problems.i inserted a mmc of a siemens in the 6230.i transferd some music on the phone memory.now i cant erase it.anmd it takes up much space (5.9mb).any1 plsssssssssssssssssssssssss help,i'm stuck with it.i evn f;ashed the firmware.didnt work

ALSO: don't forget that the SE k750 has a 2 megapixel camera. Tests on this website show that it's way much better then 1,3 megapixelcameras.
Also the screen is bigger and has a more set of colors. YESSS

got my 2nd 6230i last sat. the sms alert tone is also not that audible although the setting is in level 5. called nokia phils this morning and the customer service guy told me that there is indeed a software problem. the new software version will be out in a months time. mine is a V3.25. i hope the latest version will solve this problem.

It's the best phone in town or probably the best in the world. I have been using countless brands and models & no any can compare with this masterpiece Nokia 6230i. I falled in love with this phone straight from I bought. How can a phone been so pefect!

I got big software problems with the phone . Ussualy when i look at a video or something like that the phone goes dark then the desktop appears after 2-3 (like a phone reset but it isnt cause i can acces the sim card instantly) .

The only thing that the K750 has that is better than the Nokia 6230i is the screen. Of course the K750 will be sold at a price that is higher than the 6230i.

Hi, Vodafone still dont do this model in the current range!! I have found out why though! I went into a "Link shop" in Widnes,Cheshire, England on Friday and they said all of their 6230i's were recalled by Nokia because they all had a software problem. (The kind of problems ive been hearing from this very forum actually!!) They couldnt tell me when the range will be reinstated either, so bad news there then. The questions remains then: Why did Nokia risk their reputation by releasing a half arsed effort of a phone? They should have tested the product thoroughly before release instead of thinking of the number of phones they could shift! Very Amateur! Surely the "he who laughs last, laughs the longest" approach would have been appropriate here!
Pull your socks up Nokia, they're snapping at your heels.........

I bought paying 30% more than plain 6230 but first look nothnew,instead made n hungary bad finish that front cover is loose ad light comed out from margins when screen light on. Nokia being the pioneer company but as u receive bluetooth msg u have to fiddle fst to save then folder then reopen to instal theme very primitive,like SE & other ur r prompted to save ,instal,review simutaneous,Screen lamination is poor got of n days pls now start permanent like 6630 had

This phone is awesome but the only problem so far I encounter. The sms tone a bit soft but you try on setting is very loud but after you set, it became softer. Why like that?

i own a 6230i and my only complaint is that the message alert tone is not that audible even though the setting is in level 5. about the non working radio, i've encountered some units in some stores while testing it. looks like the phone has a problem not the headset. seems that a lot of defective units came out of the nokia factory without being tested for quality control. people from nokia should do something about it. bugs usually appears on a new model's first batch of delivery.

6230i is for 360$ in dubai and it great phone to the top agin better than 6230

for baileys... nero music editor for music editing will help u in a way u dont want the whole mp3 song playing in ur mobile.
