I'm very happy of usinng nokia mobile phone. And after buying of 6230i ,I find a lot of advantage in it ,but the big disadvantage is related of battry .And second problem is on the mouse key in mobile , for example for delete of some message when you want to use of mouse key ,you must use from "top left"key and you cant use from mouse key for select.

I have been waiting for this phone for ages now in the UK. jus wonderin if anyone knows when it will come out in orange / vodafone shops.nokia sites say first quarter 2005............. see what i mean. we are now in May. Please reply

I sthe battery any better than is predecessor? what is the D500 like? is it reliable?

1/stay at my D500 ?

Hey yunus, don't listen to the sales rep. 6230i should be out in most stores now. I know that crazy john and telstra shops have them in stock already. RRP AU$680, but internet ranges from $570-$680. I'm getting mine tomorrow (hopefull) from techoni.com.au. Can't wait!!! Think this is the best phone eva!!!

i got mine three days ago for 18,000 pesos, roughly US$ 340 at greenhills and it came with a one year warranty from nokia care.

got my brand new unit a couple of days ago. so far i'm very much satisfied with its performance. it's got everything i want and need in a mobile phone. the display is jsut amazing and the software responds much faster than my previous 6600. that's after i've transferred all my images and videos to this new one. i believe this is another winner from nokia. my other all time favorite is the 6610, one of the best during its time.

this unit is 21,000 pesos/$375 in the Philippines.i'm using 512mb mmc and i've noticed that this unit hangs and reboots once in a while especially when you open the screensavers folder. i want to switch to SE k750, however u cannot assign mp3 tones on message alert.

Very nice phone , but a lot of bugs in it again. The video's I watch, get stuck al the time and sometime the phone just reboots!Guess it's the first shipment of the 6230i mine was on, wich offcourse has normaly nokia bugs in it. My software is the 03.23 of 15-03-05. Does anybody have the same problems or software in it?. And do anybody know if there is a software update available. I'm from Holland, maybe where behind the latest software here..

someone plz list the major problems of this fone! disadvantage and advantage anything that u can say about 6230i! i want a full info before i buy!

To WHL, I'm going to buy SE K750i, because it's a bit better, the screen and camera is better. The bigger difference may be that K750i don't have push to talk or edge, but those functions are not neccessary.
Althogh I must confess that 6230i is the stronger one when it comes to design...
And the k750i wont be that expensive. Maybe just 30$ more...

finally bought this phone last yesterday. and so far i don't have any problems with it. this is the best phone in the world if you ask me. this phone is really great. love it very much. the only problem is just it takes a long time to recharge it. just for information this phone cost Rp. 3.4 millions in Indonesia, that's about US$353

haha. every1 is comparing tis gone wif de gihgly anticipated SE k750i.. i wonder which is better.. but i guess k750i would cost a bomb

I am considering buying this baby and I was wondering about the new T9 that I have heard in this forum. Is it really that annyoing? How does it works and is there a big difference between the new version and good old one? The main reason for buying a NOKIA is the ability to write easier and faster sms. Am a proud user of a SonyEricsson Z600. Thanks in advance for any replies!
