for 6230i, u basically get everything for wat's necessary in a hp
1.3mp cam.
bluetooth n infra-red (dis 2 seldom come together, mind u)
stereo mp3 player n fm tuner (dis 2 seldom come together again)
bigger memory storage capacity
e only thingy...which might put ppl off..but i seriously dun think its impt..is e screen size..smaller than other models (6630, 3230, 7610)..BUT..they're symbian models..so, its a totally different argument again.
feels gd on e hands; dusty screen? nevermind, can remove housing n clean a bit...changeable housing-colours, etc.
if u wanna a hp wif pda-functions...either consider symbian..or dedicated pda-brands like palm or O2, etc.

pricing shouldnt be a factor between these two models coz they're totally targeting the different markets.
7270's for the fashion conscious...its just a fashion-phone dats y it cost so much when e features are so little.

You people out there that have said that you dont like the handset cos the picture quaility is not as good as the 6630 are to picky! The screen size is smaller so the picture quaility will differ! I think the battery life is exceptable due to how much the phone acctuly does compeared to the 6230. If you compear the 6230 to the 6230i the 6230i is so much better & its shows. Dont even try & compear it to a 6630 as they are different in many aspects to the 6230i (ones a 3g the others a 2g, ones a smartphone ones a normal handset & so on) Over all opion of the 6230i is that is the best phone on the market (even with the little bugs, by which when Nokia resovle them, no phone will be better for a long time) & its a joy to use to!

A little disappointed in the 6230i, I replaced my old 6110. Heaps of features, but locks up every so often, powers down with blue tooth at odd times. The directional pad is touch to use. The 6110 had better reception in low signal areas. A plus is the storage.

i traded my third one in for a 6630 today. The bluetooth is failing on many of the handsets. I was also disappointed as the pictures didn't look as nice as the 6630's. I was also getting very poor battery life for a Nokia. I would wait for a couple months if you are interested in this phone. Give Nokia a chance to fix all the bugs.

I got my 6230 last april and fell in love with it. So when the new 6230i was announced I somehow managed to get one a few weeks ago and I think the best phone available just got better.
My solutions to some problems mentioned on the site:
1. T9 works beautifully as on the old phone. No complaints. There is an option where u can use the T9 in traditional form or in the new auto complete word suggestion forms which can be really helpful once U get used to it. Remember original problems with T9?
2. Battery life is really good. There is a power saving option for those who need to squuze a little more of the Battery.
3. It isn't as quick as the 6230 but still its quicker than any other phone.
4. My firmware is version v3.23 dated 15th march. Its stability impresses for a new phone.
5. MP3 quality is impressive. Built in speaker strong, FM and MP3 on stereo headphones impressive.

Hi again,
Thanks for your information. Now I'm using two (02) phones with two numbers. One is my office work and other one is my personnel works. One is using for 6230 and other one is 6600.B'cas I went for these are good phones with all my needs and for my day to day work it helps lot. And also I went for these two, both can work with bluetooth, that is much easy to answer when I'm driving a car.And also compare to asian market, prices are affordable. Now my problem is I couldn't answer both lines in one bluetooth. Pls advice if there in any bluetooth devicers compatible with these two phones ???.
