can any1 tell me that in nokia 6230i you can put you inbox memory to MMC ?
mean to say that the INBOX of the phone can use on Memory Card also like other nokia models 6600 etc.

i cant w8 4 de 6230i 2 come i having been reading every single infomation about that there is and i think this is guna be a fanstatic fone. does n e 1 kno huch it is gun cost in de uk??

I've had two 6230, the first having been stolen. Absolutly no echo at all, voice clarity is great. Must come from network ? I live in Thailand.

Very intresting upgrade of 6230. I have very hard to choose between this one and 3230 as my next phone. In Finland the lowest price I seen is 347 euro.

I know you are right there the 6230 echoes like no tomorrow there have been times when i have been using it and i thought i was in the himalayas mountains cause the self voice echo was so bad and no firmware updates can fix this. How does NOKIA get away with this! Anyone else notice the terrible echo effect the 6230 has in calls? its hard not to.

i have two great handsets which r two flagships from two very nice companies nokia 9500 and p910i both r very cool plz dont compare this phone with the w800 because this is nokia's mid range handset whereas the w800 is SE's top-of-the line so theres no comparison 208x208 is not the display size its the pixels density 208x208 on a screen which is as big as the original 6230 seems to be excellent it may have one of the sharpest displays out there and its not going to cost u ur house lol so i think overall this phone is very nice i mean compare it with the other phones which cost u like 250 pounds and u will see for urself its price wud be around the price of the 6230 so overall a nice phone packed with a lot of features. good job

The 6230i replaces the 6230, they won't be sold at the same time. As i already have a 6230, wich is a great phone, I won't buy it. The 6230i is great too but my next phone will have a BIG screen.

Looks good i wonder if this will self voice echo in calls like the original 6230 though? I hope not, if it doesn't then I may well snap it up. The screen size although smaller than any other 1 megapixel camera phone is not too much of a issue for me.

another thing is the battery standby time, maybe you should make battery of higher capacity like 1500 mAh or higher i only got 36 hours of usage per charge, i dont use this phone much often i use it only for SMS and GPRS, seldom voice calls and camera.
i wonder why battery life is so short?

one more thing, does this phone solved the loose back cover problem of 6230? i hope so. that would be the most improtant upgrade i want. and i hope every body does.

i currently own a nokia 6230, probably i wont buy the 6230i for the next few weeks or months. for the reason that it will surely be expensive and the price difference between 6230 and 6230i will not be worth the upgrade. Probably when it reaches its lowest price maybe 3 to 6 months i buy it. in short i buy it when its US$ 240 OR LOWER

Can anyone tell me if the phone allows you to set a different ringtone for different phone book entries? I've seen some spec pages say "yes" and others say "no".
