love the 6230i. used for past 3 years but now need to upgrade as battery about to die on me ! any comments on the closest phone to this - one tha is easy to use, decent size keys, with camera. thanks !

okay, here is the most difficult questions of all about this phone:
1. how to format (i mean REAL FORMAT) the device? not just 'restore factory setting'. Anybody knows?
2. what is the maximum capacity this phone can support? is it 1gb or 2gb? anybody tried 2gb before?

i have 6230-i and it a good mobi. olso i have thousand of 6230-i games software themes tones etc.but i like most nokia 95 8giga byte i am crazyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy about phone olso i have some secret codes of some mobiles

Can someone please tell me how can know when purchaseing Nokia 6230i if it is made in Fanland, Germany or China. Where do I look so I won't be cheated.

i hav 2 of these fone 1 of dem never has signal and da other turns its self on and off any ideas wots wrong wiv dem becoz at the moment im usin nokia 6111 and they r rubbish and i think these fones r gr8 thanks

The latest software/firmware version for Nokia 6230i is V 03.89.
This model is great. Had mine for 2 years plus and it's still going strong.

To all those die hard NOKIA fans looking for a replacement phone, here are phones i predict will follow well in the footsteps of 3310 & 6230i(phones i have used even though i also use the 2004 phone of the year d500 which i abandoned after 3 months), on the s40 side, the Nokia 5310 music phone, 6300 steel companion, 6500 classic blade(even with absence of memory card) and a new line of phones to the family (entry level, affordable, non bulky s60 smart phones) the nokia E51 and 6120 classic. Thats if they don't fall victim to internal price wars as nokia have a problem of releasing too many similar phones like they did with the 6233(which i expected to take over, and many might not know) then launched the 6234 and now the 6220 classic is also on its way... Non-the-less i bid Farewell... After two agonising years of service, I've sent my ever so faithfull 6230i to the retirement home due to technological advancements. I was fortunate to be able to hustle for the nokia N81 memory card version.

this phone is undenialbly the best phone i have,had for 3 years or so but now i have a S.E W610i.But i respect the 6230i for it's good perfomance

If I can't send picutre messages from my Nokia 6230i anymore & the error message I'm getting says 'check multimedia settings' where do I need to go to 'activate' this so I can continue sending picture messages?
