I have used this phone for the last 2 years and have found it very disappointing. It needs charging every single day, which can be a real pain when working 24hr shifts as you have to carry your charger with you. The buttons are very small and it is easy to make mistakes. The screen is also small and so makes it hard to see text messages, especially for one who now has to wear glasses to read a text message.

very good phone easy to use when you know how but it tokk me a bit of time to get used it and any orange users can you get ornage world on this phone?

Hey i just got a 6230i and a 3230 and they both have visual radio.. what is that??
when i go into it, it asks me to connect to a host or something.. can someone help please??

Thanks for the discovery of this phone by the Nokia i really lked this phone.I bought it way back in South Afirca when i was still at the Uinv.in south Africa probably when it had just come out in 2005.i saw it from my friend and some two rich guys who prompted me to say i should risk my money for this fone.i call it risking because in most times you buy phones which end up failing to work then you resort to buying another one.
But up to now i have never regreted as why to i bought this type of phone i am only worried after using for these two plus years i need a new one and i hve high hopes in the Nokia family ,if they had not brought the new N95 i would still go for the same 6230i but since therer is one,when i look at it on the net which is better than my 6230i which is N95 and please i am seriously saving for it.Please my Nokia 6230i keep p i really appreciated yr service and i still do appreciate because i am still using it.Angus Lukeeta,Uganda,East Afica,Africa

I've used the 6230i for nearly a year and it's very good I like it so.It has all the things that I need. Its price's average and fit to both gender.Sometimes it restarts but it's ok. This is a wonderful cellphone in the world. I use 512M card ok.I will never change it

hello friends i just got this phone as a gift but nowadays there's only one problem that the phone's bluetooth doesn't work i dont know why i tried to connect it with my music edition 3250 it just connected once after that it says no device found even it doesn't get connect with anyother mobile bluetooth can u plz tel me whats the problem the phone firmware is new V3.88 and one more thing when i save any contact in the phone memory and i try to copy it on the sim card it says contact not moved why is that..??? and after restarting the phone the contact will be there in the sim card as well as in the phone memory restarting of the phone causes the battery life plzzzzz help me

iv had a 6230i since 2005 and it still work's Perfectly till this Date iv changed the Cover about 4 time though lol otherwise its just Great !
i Love its Style and Robustness and Keypad and the Music is good To and Camera is Clear and Sharp !

The Nokia 6230i has been the best phone i have ever use. In terms of features ie ring tones music and radio and the sharpness of the picture quality is second to none.

This was the best phone i ever had. it lasted me over 2 years. once i needed a new battery the second nokia battery never quite lasted as long. i've spent the last few days looking for what would be the closest newer version... any suggestions?
