The Battery Life is better then most New Nokia"s - my 6230i lasts 3-4-5 Days without charging!

this phone is the best nokia phone i have ever seen all my friend got this phone trust me its got everything upset the battery life is so poor

Actually...Nokia rules :) Really! All my friends got this model, it's good, the cam is good, the mp3 player is my best friend. There are newer models, so you can chose. But if you are thinking of getting this one - do not worry, you will not regret it!

i use my 6230i as a Sole MP3 player.Besides my SE W850i !!!!!!!!!!
i have NO stand alone mp3 player.

Hi all 6230i users i use this phone, but out of curiosity i would like to know how many of you use your 6230i as your sole mp3 player or if you have an additional stand alone player which you use to supplement your phone.... Pliz post ur reply.... Thanks

I guess you will have to update your firmware to 3.88 or you can convert to AAC... The new nokia music manager is much better than the old one

Unbeatable in its Range. High ratings. Feature rich even when compared to the latest phones that come out in its category. Its brought change in my mobile life.

more than 5 days stanby with several hours of mp3 and radio, couple of hours using BT and 6 short conversations. I think it's pretty good. So clean the contacts and your phone will hold the charge much better.

this mobile is very good but the only problem is that the battery life is not vey good and the volume is low

CLEAN BATTERY CONTACTS with alcohol, your phone's standby time will increase. And turn power save on. Having this done, I charge my phone once in a week now (with little usage; I'll inform you later, how long it holds if used more intensively).

its a great phone unless u want to install alot of Apps and games in it,,it has all the features with compact size.
But for apps n games u better go for Symbian phone...

thx,but no thx.Coz NMM compressed those MP3 to M4A/mp4(1/4th time small of a mp3),but that m4a doesn't play on my 6230i(ver-3.7).
U told converted m4a by itunes play well,thats why i got little bit interested.Waiting for ur reply.(...can u inform ur cell no,pls?!....if u don't mind!

sorry 4 the delay... If nokia music manager can compress a file that well as u say then better stick to it theses not much difference btwn the two... Cheers

i have a 6230i and im very satisfied with its performance, its got a decent mega pixel cam, large internal memory, crystal clear lcd good quality stereo and mp3 music. its got everything i need on a phone plus the fact that the size is just right for me. my only gripe with this baby is the navigation and selection key button, but other than that i love this fone. simply rocks
