dude no wonder your wonder is totally flawed i have the lastest firmware on my phone which is V3.80 you have V3.35 which is virused up ..five46 take your 6230i to a Nokia Dealer tell them to upgrade your firmware.ASAP best of luck!! hope the memory goes up!?

dude theres something dodgy with your phones memory then. mine says "21MB free" on the phone memory!!
wonder why yours says "8MB free" ???

Ha... Ha... Dude, Mine is 6230i. The display is crystal clear and I can take 1.3MP Pics too... Mysteriously though now my phone shows 8MB free phone memory...
Any ray of hope????

what is the replacement model of 6230i (I prefer a generic nokia user interpahse-non symbian) with the same sort of functions and specs (but upgraded features like 3G and GPS etc)

But can u confirm exactly whats d software name & frm where can i d'load apples itune?
Nokia music mgr compressed a 5MB mp3 song into 1.8MB m4a/mp4 audio.Is that apples itune do d same?

My 6230i does play MP4 & M4A sound formats. Mine is firmware 3.88 and i use Apple's I tunes to convert MP3's to M4A's and they play flawlessly the only thing is that my Nokia Audio manager version 4.1 does not recognize them so u have to upload them manually using file manager or by USB mode thru data cable, if u have a newer one version of nokia audio manager it will probably recognize them.
I have also been using a 1gb card since early Feb no probs so far u should have firmware 3.80 or higher and also format it from time to time to avoid fragmentation of data.
Awesome phone with 3D java its cool battery sucks though.

Dear all 6230i user,
can any1 explain me why i failed 2 run MP4/M4A music in my 6230i?...all songs converted via nokia music manager.
If i would updated my firmware into 3.88 then possible 2 play those mp4/m4a?
Pls sumbuddy reply to my cell no/via email.....!

It was cool at the begining the only problem that it doen't work good with 1GB Memory card.

Excellent device!!...using for last 2yrs with 1GB MMC.
I heard-this set supports 4GB MMC(mobymemory.com) also.Can anybody confirm me is there any +/- effect with this giant 4GB MMC?
My firmware version is 3.70,but it doesn't support mp4/m4a format(music@48kbps).

must be 1 of my files currupt then..thats made my memory card currupt and not make it work...otherwise 6230i should work with a 1GB mmc..with no problems.
