i started to use the 1GB mem card for 6230i 3months ago. and the only side effect i noticed is that the fone is a bit slow. but other than that, the fone still works great...

i have this fone for 6months now and i must say, i am very happy. it has everything... its like where have you been all my life... i wont trade this fone for anything... 6230i ROCKS!!!!

I was thinking of trading my samsung e350 cellphone for a nokia 6230i, does anyone think this is a good idea? Can the phone use a 1gb card and work well as the 512mb card? I read that the maximin limit of the phone's memory is a 512mb card. what is really the maximum memory card can someone use with this phone? Can I buy a 1gb card or a 2gb card or just stick to the 512mb card? Which one will work best of the three? Do you need to put on any mods or firmware for a 1gb/2gb card to work or just put it in the phone and it will work alright? PLEASE HELP ANSWER MY QUESTIONS I REALLY NEED TO KNOW ALL THE INFORMATION ON THE QUESTIONS I AM ASKING!

both 3230 n 6230i are gr8 fones bt for a good buy, 6230i is best. bt if ya want symbian and large screen; 3230 is z 1

yea tis fone iz da be5t.ive been usein fo abt 1 yr nw n ive jus got 1 problem.sumtimes ma phone screen turns blank for a few sec ten wen ipush a button it resumes frm wher i left.

i've upgraded this phone and the sim card as much as possible
here's a list
1. upgraded the original headset to a hs-6 headset on ebay.co.uk
2. upgraded the mere 32 mgb memory card to the 512MMC plus which is 5 times faster from mobymemory.com
the vodafone sim: //just go to your nearest vodafone store for help//
1. upgraded it to stop the clock
2. free weekends calls

My father is having this phone and this phone has a life timer of 710 hours till no problem in this phone.till now it has talktime upto5 hours and 4 hours music playback.Sound will be like n91 in loudspeaker

Had this phone for about 6 months. It was the best one I have ever had. Only 1 thing wrong with it thought. -It collects so much dust under the screen. You wouldn't believe how much dust got under the screen. You can't even clean it properly without puting more dust on it. It was soanoying that I had to change phone.

The Nokia 6230i for me, is one of the best phones you can ever have. Yes, it's screen size may be small but the the screen's display is brilliant! Comparing it to the N 6680, i prefer the 6230i cause its compact. Imagine a phone so small with mp3, blutooth, video, infrared, camera, and you can even use it as a mass storage device! Just get the Nokia data cable and you're ready to go! About the slowness, yes it is kinda slow but I suggest you use a lighter theme. I use a Imac Light theme and it works well...
To sum it up... 6230i, is one of the most compact, yet filled with the features you never have thought of... ;)

I've been using the phone for 2mnths now and I'm inluv with it. The MP3 player is good and the photo's are awesome except for the video, the quality is not gud at all. But still its a grate fone.

yes the 1 gb card is working but it takes forever to read the data from it but the phone is the best yet a have my 6230i since it was relesead and it's ok good job nokia
