yes the 1 gb card is working but it takes forever to read the data from it but the phone is the best yet a have my 6230i since it was relesead and it's ok good job nokia

this phone is pretty much the same as the sony ericccson k510..but i chose the k510 over this one cos my brother has a sony e k700i and it seems pretty nice and i personaly like sony ericsson bettttter

i really love this phone. i had it for almost one year now but unfortunately it was stolen last sept 2. im really sad since i have all my contacts, messages and pictures there and i wasnt able to back up those things. for me, this is the best and as soon as i got enough money, i'll buy this phone again eventhough theres a lot of new models in the market. for me, it's simply the best!!! i miss my phone!!! sob

Tidy compact phone. Battery life is a disaater. My old Siemens S55(buttons on S55 a disaster) would go 5 days, this nokia does about 2 days. Voice tags works well. Also use Opera mini and have had some good fotos. Cant handle to little light or to much, Radio useless unless in very strong signal area(I'm not)

i love this phone, using it since one year. using net on it via opera mini, listening to mp3/FM it has great sound in small size. only problem is lesser controls in video playback. no FF/REV button in video.

This phone was probably launched ahead of its time. Compare the features and functions and you would find it on par with today's newer Nokias.
The screen is probably the clearest among all the Nokia cellphones, but perhaps the manufacturer could have placed a bigger screen.
Mine is made in Hungary and it has a World Clock, a Translator, and my favorite games Backgammon and Golf Tour.
Pictures are clear enough to burn on CD and view on a DVD player, provided you don't take pictures indoors (as it does not have a flash).
It also doubles as my portable MP3 player, so I didn't have to buy an I-Pod to take my music along.
It's got everything I could possible want in a mobile phone. And to date I still have not found a phone at any price to replace this with.
Bravo Nokia! You made a real winner with this one!

(6230i) is a grat phone i have it for almost a year . it's sound is great but it don't support rm , mr .and the size of secren is really small :( video is not too good on it like other phones . it also don't take sis and almost games is sis and i can't find any game work on it pls if any one have a good game send it to me . it's camera is ausome but only in shoots not in video and the video don't support real player so be carefull .and that is rigth it's battery is very short i one time went to sleep and it's battery shows full when i woke up woow the charge is gone ALL but that don't happen alot only when i decide to use it LOL .Well in general it is a good phone . have fun :D

this fone is awesome if u want mp3's... theres not much free space in the phone itself... but when u get the memory card in it, its really good.. lol otherwise the fone is awesome

I want to buy a mobile phone , please help me to choose one of two phones.
my first choice was nokia 6230i because of it's small size and design with the high performance such as bluetooth, infrared, mp3 player, 512 mb memory card and etc.
now I belive that it have many limit on it's slow speed and it's display (small and 65k) and it dosen't suport any OS.
I look at the phones, I finde nokia n72 with the great design, that I know it is better than 6230i but I want to select 6230i with the attention in size of these phones.
what's your idea about selecting small siza (6230i) versus n72 that is new and great phone ?
