For those users at who the phone work realy slow when entering the menus ..change your phone wallpaper..with a smaller one.
I had an 1.3mp wallpaper and the phone was working very slow but when i change it he began to work great.

6230i is the best item in design in all nokia phones .
the memory card size is standard although it's small size.

my boss has a 6230i and it's battery life is one day.with maximum 30 mins talk tome.we tried switching the battery from same and different nokia models including 1100 and still no result.so the battery is not the problem, but we simpli couldn't resolve the problem.i heard it might be a software problem but we lack the means to update the firmware.does anyone know exactly what the problem might be?ty, e-mail me pls if u got an answer.

I don't know how to use 6230, well I don't have the owners manual:
- What is meant by 'Activation key list' in the Phone features, how can one use it & activate it?
- How can one use the Password for the Memory card (Slot in card)? I don't know how to activate it
- Pls want to know: there's no free Application to download for 6230, make us enjoy the Phone more.
I will be very grateful if my Opinion is given immediate resonse while I'm waiting.

if the 6230i is anything like the 6230 (which theoretically it should be) i would recommend it. i have had mine 3 years and had no problems with it, i use my phone more than average and it is still going - although it does keep switching off on me from time to time now - i think its trying to tell me to get a new one. i've never had a problem with slowness, its other brands of phones that i find slow, my brother has se 810i and that is too slow for me when using the menu.i think if i get a new phone i will get the i version.

Ive had the 6230i for nearly a year now.. its slow in switching to menus its only because ive got alot of things stored in my memory card.. ive had no other problems so far.. it works perfectly.. also love how u can make ur own themes!!.. im considering getting a N72 but ive never liked the bulky design of the phone.. but i reckon the 6230i is the best phone ive had.. even tho it doesnt do 3g for my personal preference i wouldnt use it if it was on it hehe.. its a great lil phone.. =)

Why is the Nokia 6230i so slow!!!!!!
It may have all the features and work well etc.etc. but might as well be a brick ! if it doesn't get some speed up !!! switching between screens ,functions,search and back and forth is the slowest mobile I have ever seen , about to ditch it ahhhhh!

the phone is perfect in design. and simple to use. can we not install the real media player in this phone 6230i. this is a single disadvantage tht we can hear the real audio files.

great phone but screen gets full ov dust quick so if this bugs you forget it otherwise has good set ov features

hi,
i am facing some problems with 6230i. i am facing some slowness so it takes time to switch between the menu. And some times when i get a missed call the screen will freeze and shows that i am getting a call and sudenly the phone reboot.

this phone is the best phone i have ever had... i went threw alot of phones...the only thing about this phone is never drop it...if you drop phones alot buy a case for it!!
