OK - Can anyone help - This is now my second 6230i within a week. Why is it that sometimes the phone rings and other times it doesnt???? Its nothing to do with the settitngs and its very random - basically when the phone rings it decides if its actually going to make a tone or not. its really getting on my nerves and thinking of sending it back yet again and changing the phone completley. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks

* what is the memory dat come with this phone wen bought.
* what is the actual memory of the phone without memry card.
* can the phone play wma and wmp file.

I have the Nokia 6230i.It's a great phone but i have a problem with it.I have software version V 03.70.Everytime now and then the phones lights come on on it's own without and keys been pressed.Sometimes after you lock the keypad and the lights go out,it comes on again.Did anyone out there experience the same problem and what did you do to rectify the problem.Thanks

ive had this phone for 1 year now. its very good. i got a 512MB card but it didnt work.

It's a great phone, easy to handle. It has everything you need to live in a city, works excellent with a 1 Gb MMC card (for many, many songs)good pictures at night and it works after getting wet! Bluetooth and infrared is excellent for downloading pictures easy and fast. It beats many other brands. I strongly recomend it.

(6230i) is a nice phone .but the bad thing in it is that it is not simple phone .so it don't play real player music or moives .and when you need a game you have to search a lot to find games that work on not simple phones . on the other side it is good phone with a very good tone and very good pictuers . And its camera is good for photos but not for video . well that is my point of view .

The phone is great.I have MMC 1Gb card and it works.They describe: up to 512Mb but it works with 1Gb wery good.

6233/6234 was released, so for those who consider a phone with better/upgraded features, go for it & no point staying with 6230i since some designed problem unable to solved. I don't mean it definitely win 6230i, but I'm sure its better. As till now, after voicing everyday for feedback, still no fans willing to share their opinions..........so disappointed(*÷*)

Well bought this mobile ten days back, really happy with it, except the fact that the battery has let me down and that its not compatible for most of the downloads through GPRS.Or else the phone has got all the much needed features

to the guy called jason..the dust can be removed.. try removing the front cover..
if you cant,.. and you still have a valid warranty,.. just send it to the shop and say that it has some software problem and if they could have a look at it.. and then when there at it say by the way could you just help clean the screen.. they should do it..

to the guy that asked if should buy this phone... well i personally think you should..
the battery is very good.. its really fast to charge.. it last quite long too... the
camera however... well its not to say its
horrible.. its well average.. its not bad..
the image quality after you take a picture
is good.. the sound is not like most nokias.
like the n70 is horribble.
this phone has almost everything.. and if
you like a classic design, this suites you..

i want to buy dis fone and im not relly sure if i shud can sum1 give me advise of buying it. how is the batytery and all i relly like it though. is the camera gud?

you can find out software level by typing *#0000# My phone is level 3.5 but they are now up to 3.7. i know with some cars bluetooth will only work with levels over 3.5.

yeah...still a nice one ......I've used it but just..need to connect with PC..in start it have some problem(connectivity issues)but after trying all tips'n tricks ,just reinstall OS and it cures all the problem....just figuring out how to delete "read only files" which it deny to delete.....any help???

hey guys, this phone is great. does anyone else have a problem with dust collecting on the lcd screen? does anyone know how to get them out?
