to pipo,
yes, you have to group each name for each different ring tone.
and the photo is small.. just less than a quarter of the screen.. just below the caller number/name when the call is coming in

My firmware is 3.70, so 3.62 is not latest. 3.70 is probably most stable firmware, but altought it does not fix my problem with echo I have when I'm speaking. I can hear my own voice without any time delay. Very disapointed.

Yeah im just wondering u can assign a ringtone to each contact or do u have 2 group the contacts 2 assign a ringtone.
Also just wondering when someone calls, is the foto a lil foto or does it take most of the screen...
Hope someone can answer these questions

Its 3 months now i have purchased this model.
1st thing please check the version of the software *#0000# if it shows v3.25 then its not the latest, the latest version is v3.62
which i checked is the same.
Battery life is less. If you use without radio/mp3/video then it lasts for 2days.
But i have bought for all the functionality for which not more than a day the battery last.
GOOD FEATURES:
SMALL, 1.3MP Camera, STEREO ROCKS, G8 SCREEN.
Have downloaded many themes from http://www.mobile9.com and http://www.zedge.net

No, the maximum is a 512 card for Nokia 6230i, but i would't recommend it, because it will slow your phone very much...

My experience with Nokia 6230i is the phone eat more power for the operation even I'm use in a low uses. Great phone but crisis power. And I believe in this GSMArena site, there is a Nokia staff to make this product allways look BEST but BAD!

overall a good enjoyable phone, however if bluetoothing large amounts of data via bluetooth etc even with a memory card with sufficient free space the phone memory must be able to hold it first befoe moving the data to memory card. This has been quite fustrating when trying to bluetooth videos etc from my computer.

this phone is such a great phone.in temrs of memory th holds a lot more memory than most phones.as well as it camera takes pictures quite clearly.the internal memory together with the memory card more than doubles the memory of any other phone including the razor.there is no other like it as yet.

Well, I'm not lying about the battery. That's what I have, it's draining fast. IF possible, we can switch handset, I'd be happy.
BUT I NEED TO CORRECT MY STATEMENT:
It is NOT the battery problem. The battery performance was 100%(result print out by Nokia battery checker) I also tried my battery to other Nokia, it works fine.
IT IS POWER MANAGEMENT PROBLEM I suppose.

u`re joking right??nokia cheap ?? a nokia phone with the same capabilities as other phones like samsung and se is muuuuuchhh more expensive .. and where do you find 32megabytes physical memory on 6230i. it only has 7-8 like almost all nokia phones.
