to right!! N6233 is the Best!! my W850i wont last long now.. :( il get a replacement Walkman Phone tho!
the Standard earphone won becuase the Output was Excellent, when different earphones are plugged in the 6233 with the adaptor the sound output is weak even with Equaliser at Max!
i have the 3.5mm Jack for my 6233 its called *AD-46* thats the code its a 3.5mm jack adaptor so i can plug any other earphones into it!!!! i got it from Dubai when i went, and i cant find it in the UK ..which is strange....but it will be in the Philipines!!

And too bad for your W850i,, you're telling me its sooooooo much better,, hehehehe and still Im goin for this N6233!!! simply the best!!!

iv come back to the 6233 forum becuase this phone is the BEST !
my W850i is giving me problems serious problems:( its stopped reading the memory the D-Pad has cracked and doesnt work alot and the slider is Loose and creaks.....!
so my 6233 is still loooking like its New nothing wrong with it at all....it looks like its new..its 2 Years old, no problems at allllllll...
im .........!!!!!!!!!!!
SE disappointed me with the W850i build Quality
but the Nokia.........................................keeeps going on

Nokia hs launched 6233 as a buisness phone. thats why they provided edge and 3G to it in way back. but interestegly its of no use because the 6233 doesnt have a HTML browser. what a pity, now they are selling it like a music phone. GREAT TURNOROUND.

Pls, i m havin a problem wit ma 6233fone...weneva i try usin applicatnz like mobyexplorer, bt explorer, opera mini and other security applications. It says Application access set not allowd/ Pls can anyone tell me what to do or how to set fone application to allow such application. Thanz

Yeah i meant the earphones that come with the 6233 they are probably the worst earphone iv ever heard!!
but you rate the sound as 10/10?? 10/10 is the speakers..! and other earphones plugged in..
how you rate yuour SE then??? SE = 10/10 its a SONY ..they know how to make sound!
Is 6233 sound's better thatn Ipod???
iPod is slightly better..but iPod only has earphones..so 6233 would win becuase of the Highbitrate output in earphones and the Stereo Speakers!!!!!!!

i have that adaptor its named *AD-46* it cost me aloot..got it from Dubai when i went..there rare aswell..my cuzin tried to find it for his 6230 and he couldnt find it...its that rare..anyway iv told u the name of it...and the adaptor has 3.5mm Jack earphones adaptor....so iPod can be plugged in...

dani,lester, so is there any way to connect ipod handsfree to 6233. i found an audio adapter in nokia site. they say that it will make any mp3 handsfree to be campatible with 6233.does it cost a huge price and can i try local audio adapters. See NOKIA retail packaging of 6233 is utterly horribly. its the sheer charisma of a phone only that draws people towards it.if they would have provided a usb cable, a good handsfree and a 512 mb memory card with that that would have make owner very thankful to nokia. but you know in n72 is just little bit costilier than 6233 but it got a great pacaging because it is a N series phone. Nokia always provide great pacaging for its symbian phones even if some of them are rubbish.

Hehehehe...Never read the whole manual though. Didn't know that feature until now...hehehe.
Ok, about the sound from the earpiece. Well, I rate it 7 out of 10.
It doesn't give you that superb bass and clarity experience like SE fones, but for me it's alright. It does the job.
If you want the "I POD" experience, better adjust the music files to a higher bitrate to enjoy its maximum output.

hihihihihi.... even my 3510, and my brother's 1110i does that!!! I think it is being noted at the manual that in order to use the feature of the fone, ur CP must be turned On, except for alarm clock...
Is the sound not that nice??? not like IPod???

I think what Dani meant was about the earpiece that comes with the 6233 package...It lacks that "bass" effect but It's OK.
Better than IPOD? Hmmm...Nope.
And by the way, I've discovered something about this fone a month ago and forgot to post it. What happened was my battery got drained, battery was empty and turned OFF, then while charging it (While OFF) the alarm went on. I almost freaked out like what the?! Then I realized I forgot to set OFF the alarm and then this message popped up on the screen (While the fone still OFF) saying "Turn the phone ON"?
Gosh, the alarm engages even the fone is OFF! Cool!
