I have never seen such a Wonderful Music Phone like 6233. No words to say about this model if you want to buy a Music Phone you can buy 6233. The speaker quality was too good and price also dead cheap.

hehe video recording is hardly affected on the quality of the optics
though it is a big factor, video recording relies more on the processor and how the video is compressed...
6233 has the processor speed and its videos arent so compressed. The lens of the w810 though it is of good quality, is still small, so it's advantage over the 6233 isnt really a whole lot noticeable (disadvantage of phones compared to digicams at the moment)
w810 has a fine QCIF video 176x144 but upon uploading them to pc youll notice that it is too small
and that if you try to double the resolution to go up to QVGA in size (320x240) the video becomes pixelated
the lense of the w810 hardly helps here because the phone compresses the videos to the point where the overall quality is sacrificed for space, unlike in the 6233 where the video bitrate is extremely high (higher than the best video recorder that s.e. had for quite some time...w900) the quality is not compromised
and not alot of fones can play videos recorded by 6233 because of its high bitrate...
if you are content viewing your videos using your phone or is already fine with QCIF resolution then w810 is gonna be good enough...it's video recording has actually improved in quality over the k750 but again, the resolution is still small k800 and w810 seem to have the same QCIF video quality ^_^

W810i Quality is better then 6233's all that is different is the Lense Quality ..W810i Being a SONY has a Top Quality Lense so the Quality of the Video of W810i it being QCIF Resolution which is Average but the Qualty of the Video Recorder is better then 6233's
all that differs the between them is Resolution
6233 Maximum Resolution - 640+480
W810i Maximum Resolution - 176+220
Quality is abit Fuzzy on the 6233 when set to the same as W810i ..but when 6233 is set 640+480 the Quality of the resolution shows ...if W810i had VGA 640+480 it would be the BEST ..but only 6233 has it ..

Hey Dani.its tough decision indeed...camera draws me to w810i and video recording to 6233..i have to take one decision soon..is video recording of w810i really very poor??or its good but not better than 6233?? may be some suggestions on this will help a bit more..

6233 drawbacks
1. cannot ff or rewind videos at the moment(hopefully this will be fixed by new firmware iteration)
2. low internal memory compared to w810
3 camera has no flash and no autofocus
4. Only 500 contacts can be stored in the phones memory
w810
1. doesnt have 3g
2. video recording is of poor quality
3. speakers volume is low and not much of an improvement over w900= "cannish sound"
4. screen resolution is only 176x220 (no different from nokia 6600 screen resolution, only with better colour) and is smoother looking than 6600
5. auto focus is quite slow( common to most phones with auto focus)....but of good quality

once i say these all of our friends please say what are the drawback of 6233 ? please point out the drawbacks ?

i got this phone 8 months bak ,
PLUS POINTS-
awesome video recording resolution (640x480) way above in its class, camera is good at 2mp.
very loud stereo(2) loudspeakers which dont distort at full volume ...
font is very pleasing on the screen(320x240 pixel screen) , the keypad has a very good feel for messaging, volume control,next track or radio station on headphones great during riding..
attractive pricing

Thanx a lot again Dani and Carloud!!!u have been really phenomenal..i was not expecting such a nice cooperation frm u people..i really appreciate that..but u mentioned abt the price..dont u think lesser price of nokia 6233 is well judged by the lack of stuffs in its pack..nokia comes with 128MB external memory whereas 810i with 512mb..and data cable is also missing frm the nokia'a pack..doesnt including them leads to the price at par with w810i?

6233 and w810i both have exact same price in our Country and both handsets are really great having good market value,It's very hard to vote for someone...
