dear sir rizvi...6233 is not a smartphone and If Im correct no smartphones yet are capable of ruuning that many applications at the same time
unless what you are saying is to be able to run several features at the same time which arent to taxing on the system of the phone
such as the 6630 which could run the music player, smartmovie, messaging, antivirus app, screensaver app, and a game at the same time but with the cost of the phone slowng down...
6233 can run the music player while you are playing a game or texting ^_^

heheeh I guess whatyou are looking for is in the 6233 and it's features are more advanced than other models in its price range...
6233 sells for less than $200 if you know where to look ^_^

No 6233 doesnt have the Software Updater software in the Menu 6300 HAS IT!

There is no built in software updater in the settings menu in Nokia 6233 like Nokia 6300.

Yes, those applets are present on my handset with v5.60 FW. But then again, they have always been there for every firmware iteration I went thru. =)

I am planning to buy this 6233 model, can this is satishfied my basic need like;(1)camara (2)fm radio (3) music player (3)chat (4)bussiness purpose (5) bluetooh connectivity (6) IR (7) video capture & share (8) long battory charging life (9) main is the PRICE.
suggest me please.

the best phone ever created...i had 3 of this kind and i would get the fourth now ...it`s excelent...the sound...the camera..the video clips it makes...i am verry pleased of this phone...i wouldn`t need more from a phone..THANKS NOKIA !!!

hi all....for those who has upgraded to latest firmware version 5.60, can u all confirm if the calculator has been placed back in the organizer menu...in version 5.43, there is no calculator available...
also in version 5.43, I am unable to open the dictionary option...its there but I cant open it...seems like not working at all...anyone of u have the same problems?

I have Nokia 6233 and its third day that i have battery charging problem.
I mean when i connect the charger with mobile it starts charging and battery indicator shows that my mobile is charging but after 1 or 3 hours when i stop the charging my Nokia 6233 battery indicator shows that the mobile battery is not charged.
A friend told me that its mobile I.C (integrated chipset) problem and its very common in nokia 6233 and will not be solved, i am much worried about it, I have also charge the mobile with other nokia mobile chargers but the problem is still there.
Plz tell me how to solve this problem ? I will be very very thankfull.

i'll be updating that post to add the changes or updates of the firmware. - i havent seen the change log yet.
i dont suggest that you guys update now. Wait til we know if there is/are major changes.

If u want to buy best pictures n sound with the range price u mention on ur post, i am highly recommend u, nokia 6233, its has decent 2mpix,stereo speaker,video wi th vga resolution,qvga display with 256k, can support 2gb external memory, and have s40 3nd edition.
If u choose w810, its nice model too, but i recommend u w660,cause it above 6233 features,but price is above 6233 too.
Its up to u dude!
For me, i soon will change my k618 with w660 :-).
