i have Had this Phone for 1 year now and now iv replaced it with a N73(i needed the video calling camera) and its a good upgrade but.the 6233 has never let me Down when i got it it did.afer i upgrade my firmware to(4.91) it never gave any problems.
the advantages of this Phone:
Loudd speakers
Nice Display
fast UI
Loud music Output
3G
VGA video(but takes up alot of memory)
Disadvantages:
Boring music player
Not so good camera
Heavy Weight(110g)
to Fat.(plus heavy)
Battery dies quick
all in all i wish i got a SE in the first place Nokia's do not Plzz me anymore.Boring!

Cool phone, this is a user freindly phone much better than the Nokia Symbian Serias 60 which is very compicated phone.
Disadvantage:
No front Camera 4 video calls.
Note: If you wanna take pics get a Digital Camera!

6233 the sound is 3d perfectthan moto e398 and amera 2mp also good the s40 has some thing i dont like,design is not model,is too classic

Why this phone is such a big joke?? With its high resolution video capcuturing, but cannot rewind/forward when wacthing the video!! Very shameful!! Besides that, phone always hangs when using bluetooth!! The music player too simple and dull!! TOTALLY AN OUTDATED CREATURE!!

awesome phone,bought one 3 days 6 days ago.its fast,easy to navigate.i like the design as it looks all business but can be alot of fun.upgrading mem & better than that nokia 55*** by far.+ its 3G!

Hi, I'm looking to buy a memory card for my nokia 6233 and was wondering if the Toshiba 1GB Micro SD Card is compatible with it. (it's the cheapest memory card i've found so i really hope it is!)

Just change your Time Zone. It might be wrong.

YES, the problem with different messege reception time occures when the "time zone" in the CLOCK menu is not properly set. Becouse your operator is using the right time zone of your region and hi is sending an info for the message time. And if you have chosen different time zone in you phone, you phone recognize the time from your operator as a different time. So pay attention on that...

If I need to check when a message was received and I check my message details for received messages the time is an hour behind the time displayed on the phone face. Does anybody have this problem?
