6233 is not "averaga phone". It is only average priced, but in fact it is one of the BEST S40 PHONES. When you speak like that mention which phone you use like a "first phone", and which N Series is so better than 6233. In fact N Series are smart phones with much more useful and unuseful extras, BUT: except N9* which N Series has good keypad? 6233 has much more better keypad, speakers and faster. In that case it is more confortable for a every day use.

6233 is a business phone. Has decent features, good camera, 3D stereo speakers. Nice classic look. I've had mine for 6 months now. I use it as a secondary phone.
Only problem is it has no RealPlayer. It cannot play all types of files. 3G capability is also slow compared to Nseries Nokia phones. But overall, average phone

Nokia 6233 is using Nokia Series 40 3rd edition Java platform (it is not Operating system like Symbian or Windows, but a platform). I prefer Nokia S40 than S60 (Symbian OS), becouse it is faster and simple, while you can install and run more programs on S60.
Nokia S40 3rd edition is made almost perfect, but I JUST CAN'T IMAGINE WHAT NOKIA S40 5th (!) edition will be! The 5th editon of S40 is already anounced, so It's just a matter of time to see REAL phones with more perfect and featured phones running only on JAVA !!! Really cool - LOT OF FEATURES, NO VIRUSES, FAST SPEED. That what we want from a mobile phone. 5th edition will be really cool...

Hi riends.I am Facing a strange camera problem in my 6233.i have two sets both have same firm wire version but my second phone has no camera sound off option but the other phone have i dont know why please help me in this metter i am waiting.

I purchased the nokia 6233 last year and it just shut down. When i turn the phone on and put in my pin it just shuts down, won't come on and i understand it can't be fixed.

hi dudes..i am not really a nokia fan ..i love se..but after getting this phone its unbelievable...its not like any nokia phone...iits extremely fast ..got loudest speakers(louder than even w900i)..camera is k in daylight but the lack of flash really shows at night..the video recordin is gud..n boy its really fast...even the shape is gud though its the same candybar shape..its fits in ur pocket wats the use of a fone that bulges in ur pant when u walk its like takin a telephone or somethin....nway 6233 rulz..the best nokia phone i have seen....

1. where can i get chinese dictionary for the 6233 and
2. my email font size is tinyand i cannot seem to enlarge it even though i've chosen large fonr size in the settings.

i recently had to send my phone away to have the on/off button fixed. got it back from TMO service centre last week to find my firmware had been upgraded to v5.10. i now cannot receive any setting "from tmo website for mms" or mms messages without my phone rebooting. extremely unhappy with having to send it away again due to this as the original firmware v4.90 was fine
