Guys, are you crazy to claim that 5300 beats 6233 in all aspects ???
They has equal displays
6233 has better 2mp camera (vs 1mp)
6233 has better VGA video (vs QCIF !)
6233 has more business functions onboard (dictionary and so on... - see the review)
6233 has better battery standby and talk time (!)
6233 has STEREO speakers
6233 has a lot better design, having in mind 5300 looks like sliding soap...
Now lets see how 5300 beats 6233:
5300 may be has higher quality mono speaker
5300 has better handsfree in the box
5300 has better Mp3 player onboard
I can't agree that 5300 beats 6233 in all aspects. But if you wont cheaper phone JUST for the music, than 5300 is better for you.

how many Speakers does 5300 have ??
so 6233 is louder then 5300 but sound quality is better on 5300

to markee, aira and the other one below: I agree with u too!! NO WONDER!! even the n-series is beaten by 5300.. 5300 offers virtually same features as the n-series but it works lightning fast., n-series is slow, 6233 is just fine, but still it doesn't come close to 5300's performance.. I think, actualy.. many others share this opinion..

this phone is great.. but I also think that 5300 is better in all aspects, except for 3g.. But I still go for 5300.. 5300 rulez!!!

this phone has impressive features.. even though.. I think I still prefer the Nokia 5300.. I personally think that it has better features especially when it comes to music capabilities.. 5300 is really still the leading mobile feature-wise if not design-wise..

The sound is nice, loud and clear.. But still it doesn't beat the 5300.. they don't have a match, 5300's speaker is far better than anyother phone on the market.. Besides, 5300's music player is way better!!

Hmmm... I now notice that after upgrading to v5.10 firmware, I can't get to re-populate the Application List in the Go To menu. It just stays empty. I see other people on the net having the same problem too... =P

i have this phone for few days... its busines phone but alarm is bad... i cant set work alarm
independently from others like my motorola
v550... this phone has one alarm for everything
i cant set one for work an leave it and set others for other purposes... alarm vibration cant be turned off and its bothering me...
but for everything else phone is great...

Well, it's ok to go for what yoi want - k750, k550 and so on...
But after you hold your friend's 6233 you'll regret a lot...
First of all, K750 has better camera and pictures than k550! (read k550 review in this site)
Second, you should go for SE if you want macro photos and some night photos (*). There is no good night pictures by phone at all, except theese made by SE-k800 with its Xenon Flash for example. If you believe you can take decent pictures with diode light, check the reviews again...
And to tell you the truth 6233 is a chass above k750i and thats not only my opinion. Except the autofocus and rather useless diode you have VGA video recording VS QCIF video recordin which is a HUGE difference.
Also you have realy decent pics in daily light, which is enough in my opinon, having in mind that I haven't seen good night phone pictures at all. And what about keypad? 6233 just blows SE away in this aspect. User interface of 6233 is the newst nokia S40 third edition, which is really good. SE also has good interface, but having in mind
QVGA 320x240 display of 6233
there is no place for comparision. All in all I'think 6233 is stronger competitor. But if you're looking only for a better pictures but not for better all round phone, go for k750i...

i would reccomend you go for a SE K550i (sorry to say in the 6233 forum lol)
the SE K550i has outperformed 6233 by along way in terms of camera.everything else 6233 has like Stereo speakers(so damn Loud)
6233 camera the pics in night are very bad they have red lines going across them.
im sure K550i dont have that! .good luck on the purchase Rakesh.

please dont actived the operator service..
pls help..my 6233 can't send MMS but can do receive. the screen goes white (blank) and then restart, when i push send on an image.. but it works while the phone is still brand new. should i do upgrade to 5.10? any other solution? thank.

Let's admit it.. the 6233 always had the best speaker.. and that rate is only until the release of 5300.. Now, the 5300 has a better speaker..

I was using the 6233 and just switched yesterday to 5300.. and yes, the sound quality and loudness of my new phone(5300) is better.. far better...

5300's sound not clear enough 4 u?? r u crazy.. maybe u got a defectiv model.. The sound of a real 5300's speaker is really impressive.. it's out of this world(considering it's a mobile phone speaker).. the sound is bangin'/// 5300 is the best music phone, best speakers.. But speakers of 6233 are just fine...
