the Alarm starts low then gets Higher .its ascending becuase the speakers are Loud 6233 phones Start low becuase the Speakers are Soo loud if it starts Loud it will Make you Jump in Shock.thats why Nokia have made it Ascending.for that reason.

uhmm, the sound is nice.. but I think I still prefer the speaker of 5300,..

6233 rules! the 5300 does have loud speakers but the sound quality of the 6233 is the best.
i'm running v 5.10. just updated it online using the nokia software updater. great feature , don't have to go to the service centre for it and theres no problem with the warranty as nokia itself states and recommends you to update your firmware yourself. The best phone i've had till now, earlier was a nokia 6230i. some users may have some minor bugs but thats just due to the cheaper chinese factory products. my 6230i was a chinese made had some glitches but my 6233 is a german made, just great sound and a great phone

Nokia 6233 is simply the rocking fone. 5300 might be a bit louder, but it is not as crystal clear as 6233.. Other than lack of Flash, there is nothing that can stop you from owning one. It does wonders with music, try HS20 earphones, Sony Ericsson music would sound like a child.

need help my 6233 alarum sound is too low the firmwair is 5.10......when it was 4.91 the sound was too loud that i jump off my bed why it is low on latest 5.10.......just need to know how to increas alarum sound

pls help..my 6233 can't send MMS but can do receive. the screen goes white (blank) and then restart, when i push send on an image.. but it works while the phone is still brand new. should i do upgrade to 5.10? any other solution? thank.

well i would say 6233 is better then K550i in terms of Music .K550i is good for camera.it depends on what you want Music/camera
6233 camera is satisfactory - it performs goood - it has almost outperformed a K750i
K550i - great camera phone - but music not on good side.
K750i - its both.good camera - and music.

Does 6233 support MP4 coz my phone gives me a eror mesg sayin file not suported.

hi 6233 lovers, i am using 2GB memory card for the past one week and its working perfectly ... n70,n72,n73 hangs even when 1GB card is used but 6233&2GB are the best combination, no lags or hanging problem, there is no change in speed you will hardly feel that you are using a 2Gb card ... great phone ... 6233 hip hip hurray

5300 speakers are loud but not clear like 6233, 6233 dual speakers are crystal clear and its effects are not comparable to any phone in its category... 6233 rules

The sound is nice, loud and clear.. But still it doesn't beat the 5300.. hey don't have a match, 5300's speaker is far better than anyother phone on the market..

mark and neil: I think so too, I've already experienced the 5300's speaker.. it's so impresssive.. I think 5300 has the best speaker in all of Nokia's phones..

to neil: yeah you're right, the 5300 is sooo loud and clear in terms of sound, I can even use it as a common music player in a friends party.. so impressive..

this has been the loudest phone I ever heard until the release of nokia 5300, I love this phone, but I admit that the speakers of 5300 is better and indeed the best..
