you have gone in the wrong place the format of the programs should be "Jar" java i dont think programs with zip can be installed in 6233-?? anyone know ?? i dont

hey, its been more than 6 months I've been using this phone..each and every feature is simply amazing..the sound quality as well as the camera.. all I miss in this phone is the Flash..but except that it is very user friendly and the best of all, the Java operatin system protects my phone from any virus..thanx to 6233..anytime better than any of the latest N series phones Nokia has..

SE k550i is a cyber shot phone so it will take better pic than Nokia 6233 but Nokia 6233 have better features VGA video recorder best video even better than most N-series (atleast better than N72,N70 and N80 cant say about other) images are greater than N72 even though Nokia 6233 dont have flash but images phones are good Music is equally good as those walkman (w700i and w550i) supplied headsets are good screen is just fantastic just compare by your self with SE or Nokia N72 it just look gr8 Speakers of Nokia 6233 are unbeatable you will never get bor from this phone

Regarding video playback questions, this set can play almost everything you throw at it.
I use a software called "SUPER" for converting videos.
Some tried n tested settings..
mpeg-4/aac (320*240 15 fps) in 3gp container
mpeg-4/aac (320*240 15 fps) in mp4 container
DivX / aac (320*240 15 fps) in mp4 container
XviD / aac (320*240 15 fps) in mp4 container
It can also play videos at 25 fps but with an occasional drop in playback.
I haven't tested higher resolution videos but really going above 320*240 would be an overkill.
I'd also suggest a max video bitrate of 500-600 kbps for 320*240 resolution.

1)i recommend MPG-4 and 3GP they both work on 6233
2)15 frames per second or 30 frames per second

2)let me know the video frame rate/audio bitrate/audio sample rate values to set for music videos conversion?

hi. Its a very nice handset with almost all trhe features you want. but check if you like the camera clarity or not before buying one.

I am from chennai(India),I am using Nokia 6233( S40 3rd edition) my phone supports Java MIDP 2.0,I have both wap connection (Airtel net on phone )wap connection (Airtel net on phone ) and web conection (Airtel Mobile Office) but am unable to use Opera mini 3.1,I am able to browse all sites through my default phone browser please help me!!!

the headset supplied with 6233 are HS-23 and it fits in the POP-PORT connector
but the 6300 has the 2.5mm jack built in and the headset is the same as the ones with 6233 HS-23 but they have a different connector to fit in 6300
