I have a few questions about this phone:
1.Doe's the construction creaks after some time of use especially the back cover?
2.How is the sound on max level(is it sounds good or the loudspeaker creaks)?
3.is it better than SE W810?

i puchaced this on 31 st mar.absolutly a classic phone having all advanced features tht any one want.user friendly good camera good sound.picture clarity is nice.i wad confused btn sony k550 n k750 but when i show
tht i was not satisfy .shopkeeper suggest me 6233 i saw all the feature n very much impresed go 4 6233

can anybody tell me, are HS-23 better than 2.5mm earphones used in Nokia 6300...
are any better alternate to HS-23 (which can be connected with Nokia 6233,an accessory)wih great BASS quality

as for the video resol. thing u mentioned, that isn't 640x480 pixels is meant for the video capturing elements...wht i mean here is that should'nt i transcode the music video into 240x320 pixel(as far as for it's display is concerned here....)...or the display resolution has got to do nothing here!...let me know ur answer!
as far as for the video player is installed in the set by default, does it view music video in fullscreen?? (i am quite sure it does, but still confirming here)
other than xilsoft software,which software would u suggest me for .3gp conversion...or shouldn't i change my music videos format (i.e. .mpg, .avi)
in order to answer my previous queries u should work on xilsoft software...the software is good, but the A/V parameter has confused me.please help me out!

it is very good but how to fast forward videos with this phone in the review says that it can but i don't know haw to do it I will be very happy if someone tells me

There is no phone ranging from Nokia 6233 to N93 in video quality this phone lags little behind to N93 in terms of video (mp4 format stereo mic and 30fps) if you compress video in VGA at 15fps it will be definately crystal clear specially on its brilliant display which is better than many N-series and SE Crap images from Any phone are useless untill you dont view it on pc or remove a print out images from this phone are gr8 but not in low light condition images look good on screen itself if you compare it with image on SE phone's screen (w700i) you will find images on Nokia 6233 looks gr8 SE k750i lags from this phone in many respect plus this phone is very strong it just dropped from my bed to floor but nothing happens to it everything is working fine as before but cant guarantee about speakers becoz it might stop working but easily repaired from nokia service centre but mine phones speaker are working fine

i have bought this phone 2 weeks ago, it was made 3/2007, that's means it have the last firmware version which really have solved all the problems i've read here.
in my opinion 6233 is the most perfect phone NOKIA has made ever.
really i think that every one has buy this handset is a lucky man.

the Video codec and resolution of video is:
Resolution: 640+480 in VGA( 15 frames per second) very clear and crisp video
Codec is: AMR
No of channels: 2 Stereo ( from the 2 stereo speakers) The mic is very good in the video recording

i have 6233 and firmware version V4.91 and it supports A2DP im in the UK so the countrys of the firmware features must be different to the UK(england)
the earphones which are supplied with 6233 are HS-23 the sound quality is good and BASS in the earphones and iv never tested a creative MP3 player so i dont know??? but the earphones HS-23 are good!!

this is the best phone i ever had!!!!im totally satisfied w/ this phone!!!K750 of the sony ericsson sucks!!! this has better sound quality than that of the k750!!6233 has clearer image than k750!!! all of you who is planning to buy cellphones!!! buy this phone, Nokia 6233!!!YOU ROCK NOKIA!!!

6233 is better than K750 in everything except the autofocus and the flash of the K750's camera.So i suggest you to take 6233

video should be compressed to 240x320 because it will fit to screen 388x256 doesnt fit to screen becoz a little space remains during full screen video play back in CIF resolution this phone play video at 15fps if it play video at 30fps than who will buy N93 if you want good quality audio and video than it should be compressed in mp4 format

This mobile set doesn't support AD2P..even installing with the latest version..i.e. v4.91
To everyone:
visit www.wikipedia.org, and search for Nokia 6233 and i am well sure that everybody who is either confused or willing to buy this kick a** mobile will be convinced...
there are 2 major queries/questions:
1)if i want to store a music video from my PC to this mobile...what video framerate/ video size (ex: 240x320, 352x288 or ....)/ audio codec for such videos (ex:amr_nb, mp3 or ....)/ no. of channels (say. 1(Mono) or 2(Stereo))???? (the question can be best answered by the one who uses xilsoft software or any conversion software)
2) can anybody tell me about the quality of the pair of headset HS-23...are these pairs better than the earphones provided with the creative mp3 player??
