I have no problem with reception or other thinks..If u upgrade with the latest firmware, you will not have any problem with the phone. I have 2 GB memory card and I see no lag... Is the best phone I ever had (I had D900, D600, 6230i..etc.)

I read about 50 comments of this site and also checked almost all of the comments on mobile-phones-uk.org.uk. i'm not sure about buying 6233, cause it seems that it has some problems with reception, and it resets many times in a week. is the firmware updated? does it still has the problems? sorry for the language, i'm a foreigner.

Personally, i think phones with symbian os offer better features. And i think its easier to make application for symbian phones.
What's good about the 6233 is the price. Its like getting a symbian phone for less the price. That, I THINK, is what's making it the phone of choice.. well.. that's aside from its speakers. =p

no no whats all this about DEAD PIXELS on 6233??????? non of that is true if your firmware of 6233 is V3.70 then that problem will occure but if it doesnt accure and you have the latest firmware it will work fine

The average user reviews in THE SAME SITE are giving 4/5 stars to nokia 6233!!!

I think it is not correct to copy paste a review and than to lie it is your opinion. Well I can also copy paste several review which says how perfect is 6233 in terms of reception and software. It seems that all depends on your software version as SOME of the first 6233s has known firmware problems...

Fine fine..just say all you want.
6233 is not good nor bad.It is just my personal opinion about it and from others experience about the 6233.Hope this clears.

For the beginer "Dead Pixels on 6233":
6233 DOESN'T lack video call future. You can have a video call on this phone. The REAL MINUS is that it doesn't have the frontal camera..so the other person can see what the back camera see. GOT IT??

About 6233 it's a wonderful mob but should have flash option for photo so that photos are clear even in dark.

No prob with reception here. Great phone except the lack of a second cam. Great build quality. SOund is great too.

can anyone tell me why does 6233 eats up lots of memory i am using a 1gb mini sd and my internal memory is left 8.0kb and i hate it i can onli store like 4 messages in my inbox can anyone tell me how to format my phone i would be very happy i deleted almost everything that it involves with my internal memory games tones everything except some like the copyright of the software converters and others etc.

One more question about best buying:
6233 vs N70
What do you thing? I think theese two are real rivals:
While N70:
- have OS (better web, apps and so on)
- have flash and lense protector
- is of a "higher class" as a member of N series (may be more support from Nokia)
- front camera
Noka 6233:
- a lot better body size and weight
- faster UI
- a LOT better Video REC in VGA and better stereo speakers
- slightly better battery life and better keypad
In terms of displays phones can be equal becouse N70 have 41x35mm display with smaller resolution. N6233 have 31x41 display but 320x240 a lot better res...
In my opinion 6233 is better for everyday use, while N70 is better for people seeking smartphone. I'll probably go for 6233 couse I consider its more practical and handy in every day use. Also it seems more durable...

Do you think Symbian (or other OS) is big advantage for a mobile phone? In my opinion the perfect phone is Non-Os phone couse of its faster and non-freezing UI, BUT:
-with Picsel Viewer for .xls, .doc files like in samsung phones
-with good WEB browser like in SE phones
-the last Nokia S40 UI with active standby
-the perfect keypad of nokia 6233
By the way what do you think of 6233's battery life? (I suppose you don't keep 3G network ON all the time, but only when you're planning to use 3G)...

Before buying the set, I'd recommend you to examine a few pictures taken in average light conditions. The recent batch of 6233's are showing a common dead-pixel problem, i.e. you will get 4-5 dead red-green-blue pixels in pictures captured with its camera.
