If you really want to organize yourself - Nokia 6233 would be the very thing you should buy! I mean it can store (with the proper additional card) everything your heart desires! A 512Mb card is the right choice and you can have a spare - cos 1Gb could run slower for an active type of guy and it could reach the pittyfull speed of a Sony-Er... if you catch my drift! The phone could successfully replace any Mp3 or Mp4 and its organizer could match somehow a palm! The display is a special concept and the high resolution would impress your friends and enemies; and exposed in the light suffers no harm - it's perfectly readable! The sound is superfine cos it's superbly balanced stereo - but the secret is - you should run only aac. files on it - cos they sound just like a dream and they'll make you hate the MP3 quality sound! It is the third of the loudest phone ever made, after all! The reception is crystal clear so no worry! And it's highest quality it's the video recording, that's for sure - best VGA on a mobile ever! Perhaps the sound of the video recording is not at it's best - but the image rules!
To download is a joke... it's outrageously easy as 6233 has all the connections needed (the bad is the lack of the USB cable from its package! Buy a bluetooth and you're set for life!). And finally the battery would not let you down! Four whole days by far in intense use!
If you need a phone - a real one - please don't mind the 2Mpxls cam (buy yourself a Fujifilm E900 with 9Mpxls and lose yourself in shooting pictures endlessly!), don't mind the lack of the second cam - these video calls will drain your battery in no time on every phone around!, don't mind the stupid RDS they always talk about!
Think positive! Think Nokia 6233! Don't think Nokia - this model is just an extreme hi-tech Siemens dressed for success! Don't be fooled by other phones' looks - be smart! Make the right choise! Enjoy!

the phone is great. i love it. i've just a petite little problem though; i've installed the nokia pc suite right but when i switch on my bluetooth, the pc cant detect my phone. i'm at a lost here lol! can someone help me?

Hi Alan, I recently upgraded my FW to 4.91 but it did not solve the problem such as eveytime you change the theme, the profiles reset to their defaults!

Hey, i just bought this phone not too long, everything works great, but i have trouble using the internet though cingular wireless in USA, and i have contacted cingular, they dont know how to setup the internet on the phone. So i am wondering anyone here can help me to set up the internet with cingular. Thank you

That seems to be a common issue. I have the same problem too. Whenever I change the theme, I get all profiles reset to their defaults. Hopefully FW4.91 should fix this. Also, Yanipopo should post how you FWD and REW videos. Is it the same as FW and RW music files? Or are you just pulling our legs?

Hi Whenever i change the theme, the profiles changes to default. Can a particular profile setting be saved that remains the same even when theme is changed. The firmware is v04.52.

to DiO: many thanks for the reply. I have tried adjusting the main ringer setting...it makes the ring-tone louder but the SMS alert is still quieter than heaven on a Saturday night (to coin a phrase) !

If only this was a symbian phone with a video conference camera, it would have been the ultimate King of all the Phones, I hope Nokia takes a note and comes up with a symbian version of this phone, of course the 2nd camera is essential if you have 3G.

@rkhi: you can't set the sms tone sound level seperately, change the maing ringing sound level in tone settings, call and sms message receiving sound levels will change...

Can anybody help with this...I can't get the "message (sms/text) alert" sound to a loud enough level to be able to hear it when I receive a message. There is no option to adjust the level in "tone settings". Otherwise, seems a great phone. Any help/advice gratefully received.

hy i am using this phone more then a month its great . sound quality is super no cell phons can compear with its sound,camra is avrage indoor ,impresive in day light. speed is like i never see before ,never hang at once i have added 1gb micro sd memmory i have never enjoyed cell phones like i enjoy this one in this price range its coooooooooool black colour is wow . i do miss .sis or smart phones(my first ph. was 6630) but it has every softwair u dont need to add any mare softwair.it even plays wma files .........................by 6233 u will love it.................can any body tell me the model of audio adopter through which i can use 3.5 mm jack???????????
