Oh! Seems like there isn't an edit button here, but I wanted to post these other differences:
Seems like both the SE K800i and the Nokia 6233 share the same CPU. They do respond fast and the difference in response time between the two is not noticeable.
A good plus as well is the navigation button on the 6233 is very comfortable (I give it a rating of 8/10) compared to the joystick of the K800i (which I give a 4/10 with a blistered thumb).

It's been a few weeks now and I'm still enjoying the phone. The major drawback of videos not being able to FF and REW, well, just split them up to smaller chunks and seperate them via folders! Although I still miss the multi-tasking ability of my Nokia 6600, the pluses outweigh the small drawbacks by a long run.
I need now a HARD RESET code for this phone, just in case. I've seen people saying it's *#7780# but that's exactly just like the RESET FACTORY SETTINGS. I need something equivalent to getting the phone reformatted as if it was brand new.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Oh and another thing, Mobile Arena compares this to the K800i. Imagine that. It loses to the K800i in a lot of areas, but this phone is more than a third cheaper and the K800i didn't win by a long run.
The Nokia 6233 won in:
1. Keypad
2. Speakers
3. Video
4. Price!
But it lost to the K800i in terms of:
1. Multi-tasking
2. 3.2MP with Flash camera
3. Walkman V1.0 Player (Supports WMA)
4. OS - A100 better than S40v3
Other than that, it was pretty much a draw, like the screen resolution, and brightness.
Now if anyone would be so kind enough to get me that hard reset code... :)

yes that is all true this phone is excellent best i ever had i had 6230i before this and i still like my 6230i its a good move ahead this phone the stereo speakers are my favourite part beat any other fone out there the camera on this outperforms SE K750i tested it 6233s camera is much clearer and brighter i love this phone but i wont it in black i hate the grey/silver iv got it in

its the opposite i have the silver one i dont like it at all i wish i had the black one i like black nokias for some reason i had 6230i in black i think thats y silver isnt good to me i like it in black anyone want to swap with me ???

Ppl had already told much about this phone. Here's my view..
As I've prvsly N6610i silver. I'm MUCH satisfied wit this phone. Just i miss is the fantastic design of my old phone.
GOOD N6233
-good design, light weight compare to other phones wit same feature, solid silver chrome.
-fast speed (really i can say that it will win the race among all other nokia phones)
-great display in such a small sized phone wit high resolution.. Never found in any other phones without increase in size of fone..
-soft buttons. This is my first priority in selection of new fone.
-headset(HS-23) contains volume keys. Easy control of volm during riding on bike.
-small memory card. Help to reduce size of fone. No slowing after expansion of it.
-good speakers.
- As many ppl already told much about music camera video etc.. It's fantastic..

Hey.. 786 thanks for the info.. I've no problem in my mob except of low vol during recording... So I've decided to update, if any more problem arises.. I've silver colour.. When i look photo on the site, it seen pretty good.. But when in my hand, i'm disappointed.. Because it bit differ from the photo and It's more dark gray colour, not silver.. My previous phone is N6610i silver colour.. I much fond of that colour, but this phone is not like that.. So little disappointment.. But It's not really UGLY.. But also it has no rich look.. I hate the black colour, so only one choice for me is this gray colour.. But happy wit this colour..

bro i think it will take atleast 1-2 hours max to upgrade the firmware all they have to do is connect it to theree special software pc and upgrade the version

How much time it will take to upgrade version? I'm new in this field, don't know about this.. Whether it take half our or an hour or 1 day or 2 day.. How much time exactly nokia will take? Because i can't live too much without my this cute little toy.. I love it too much.. Even i can leave my girl friend, but not this mobile.. Plz answer....

yes hello the advantages of the firmware upgrade are that the phone gets faster and it never freezes never and network reception improves and music player never restarts and the fonts change beasically it changes the completelly i have V3.70 aswell in my 6233 im going to uograde it soon i hope

yehh the new firmware is V4.91 that otha 1 V5.91 is for 6280 only

No NOK. the latest firmware is 4.91. and NEVER 5.92!

Nope, the latest version is 5.92, this is a S40 phone, it shouldnt have the N series problems
