hi..... i have been using nokia 6233 for the past 2 months, it is the best ever phone i have owned,great display,greatfeatures and rocking sound...when i showed the phone my friends they where not so impressed in the first sight.... but they were STUNNED by its sound and amazing speed.. as it is a fact that a coin has two sides, every phone has also two sides one is plus and another is minus... but this phone has more plus points than minus... go for it.....

By right the battery should function well after you've recharge it 3 or 4 times. The 2 speakers work tremendously well!!! Good job Nokia!

TO RONNY:
i experienced that too. maybe when u are recording, since recording in 6233 is in landscape mode, u might cover the mic of the phone. located below the keypads. it is internal. but also try to use the headset microphone of 6233 as it offers more sensitivity to sound. :)

Hi.. Every body.. This phone rocks.. I've already gone through all the pages of this reviews.. Special thanks to migs and roger.. By their opinion I've decided to buy this mobile.. And I've finally got.. There are no doubts, as already many of them answered here.. I've just one unanswered query.. When i record video, visual quality is good, but sound quality and volume is very poor.. Same for voice recorder.. Specially volume.. Do you ppl have this problem ppl? Plz help... Specially to migs, 786, YONIPOP, etc.. I've v3.70.. I also want to know which changes occur by changing to new version? Will my problem be solved? Once again thanks to migs, 786, andrew, yonipop, roger,etc... Waiting for your reply.. Thanks to gsmarena also..

I have the 6233 and my battery power runs out very quickly and when someone sends me a song i cannot save it on my memory stick I have to save it on my phone which doesn't have memory to save it can any one help plz

i experienced that too, i just upgraded the firmware,
to luriX:
all depends, if u are a shutterbug but doesnt own a digicam, go for k750i, but if u need 3g, loud speakers, high quality tft display, go for 6233. :)

I will just like to find out if anyone has used a 2GB Micro-SD card with N 6233 as yet, and if it is actually fully functional with the phone. I jus bought it (haven't rec'd it as yet). Thank you in advance

i jst got mine! nd m so satisfied w/ its performance.. great sound quality, camera is not dat bad, awesome video, plus its cheaper dan any other fone.. its lyk 12500php only.. really nice fone. :)

i'm thinking of buying ths phone but before that i like to find out whether 6233 can play music just like any music edition phone. whether 6233 can play continuous music without having to select everytime a song has finished. can anyone help me with this? i'm looking for a music phone.

duz any1's 6233 switch itself off when playing music and then switches itself back on without the music player on anymore :s???????plz tel meee

I bought a 6280 first. The play in the slider just rattled me, so i changed it with a 6233. The 6280 has a better camera, better display, and a flash. But 6280 has a slow processing speed and lacks certain functions that the 6233 has. The 6233 has a great feel, soft keys, and is a king in speed. Last but not the least, the stereo speakers are so powerful, one does not really believe that the sound is comming from a cellular phone!

BUT, 786, if u compare 6233 elsewhere with 6280, 6280 crashes down. RIGHT? just my point.

iv tested the camera quality between this and 6280 6280 wins this camera is to bright becuse of no flash

i just would like to ask about what improvements would I expect from upgrading the firmware...What are they?
I brought mine to a nokia service center a while ago and I have to claim it tomorrow..they suggested firmware upgrade bcoz of the saving the profile setting problem.

For Noum about Movies
1) Yes you can watch movies in 320*240 and format 3GP or MP4 and Lanscape mode
2) No you can't fast forward video, the best solution is to split your movie in several pieces of 5 or 10 minutes

Hi,
I am having a strange prob with my 6233. It occured abt a month after I started using my phone. Whenever,I plug in my handsfree into the phone, the phone picks the 'Default PTT' function key.
My keypad gets kinda jammed!But I am able to receive calls normally.
Has anybody encountered such a prob??
