great Phone but I seem to have a problem with the headset, only one earpiece seems to be working.The headset icon on the screen displays an arrow pointing downwards. if there a setting on the phone somewhere where I can make the both earpieces work?

im using a n6233 for 1 month. its really a very good fone, but i have a problem with still picture i takes picture with high resulation but picture r not clear enough ,pics r looks smokey is it my fones fault or u people have this kind of problem. if any one know the solution plz infrom me.

hi! i just bought this phone, i bought the black one.What i like bout this phone is the speaker w/c is very loud! and i also like the bright screen.. by the way, how will i know the firmware of this phone?

Dear friends
I have a silver 6233 and my brother has a black 6233. Both phones had initially firmwares 3.70 and both did not give an option to change the font size of contacts. We both upgraded our firmwares to 4.52. My brothers phone has given him this option after the update but mine remains the same.
What can be the reason? Can any one shed any light on this weird phenomena?

1. I've read somewhere it says shared memory is 11 MB whilst here it is 6 MB.Which is true?
2. How do you update firmware from 3.70. It seems the newest is 4.52

I have got this phone for 4 days.
The sound quality and volume is Amazing!!!
The keys are so so soft and lovely to type.
Stereo speakers really rocks!
Colour display is really clear and great.
But the disadvantages:
The battery lasts for a short time... maximum 2 days for a normal use
The phone supports only java and not all the java programms.
The camera I think is really poor compared to my last K750 , no flash no macro mode, not a good night mode .
The data cable was not included in my package. It may be depended on the region.
If you are looking for a beautiful Stylish ergonomical phone, it suits you.
if you are looking for a phone with a great camera and clear pictures, or you want to use the symbian programs, it does not suit you.

Talk time is crap (less than 4 hours), calendar is crap (daily event can't exclude weekends?), only 500 contacts is crap (currently I need 650, so I use reduced set of contacts), most contact fields are useless...
Rest is unexpectedly good. Keyboard is excellent, as is display. Rating: 7/10

The 6233 is a stunning handset, looks great, works great and the audio on this phone is just unbelievable. Incredibly load but still retain the audio at an amazing quality.
The keypad is lovely to use, very comfortable handset to use while texting and I text a lot. The camera performs well for 2mp. I have been using an n73 for a while for the camera mainly, but it just doesn't been the 6233 on style.
The black version of the handset i personnaly feel has the best style to it, with the contrast between the jet black colouring of the phone and keypad and the chrome frame around the outside is amazing, almost as good a style as the 8800 but with more inside.
This phone is admittidly my first Nokia as I feel they are boring but this is my favourite phone on the market at the moment. Very high quality and reliable.
10/10 & ***** 5 Star rating for this handset

dis phone is a silent killer, hey come on nokia y didnt u put in a secondary vga call camera on this? only tat thing is missing in dis phone, also missing is a flash light for camera and macro mode

Another fantabulous feature is for this price, you use the phone as a 3G internet connection. It may not be as fast as the others, but it's not dial-up!
I'm wondering how large of a headphone can the unit support though, since the earphones are too prone to outside noises (a safety precaution, and a good one at that). I have these huge headphones and I don't think the phone can pump it out loud enough.
I guess I'll need to wait and try until I get the AD-46 adapter.

if you are facing problems with network .. if the network fails or something like that go to settings and put to gms or 3g mode the default its dual mode .. after that the phone will work perfectly.. no restarts no breakdowns this is different from country to country i am from romania! some country work 3g or some of them gsm

As a mac user, I've been having a horrible time getting phones here in the UK that integrate nicely with iCal and Address Book. The 6233 was an absolute DREAM after dealing with the Samsung D600e I had previously.
I did have to do a bit of custom coding to get the 6233 to work, but it wasn't too bad and there's very detailed instructions on the Web about how to do this. It was basically copy-n-pasting and editing pre-existing code, which was pretty easy.
All in all, I have to give this phone a total of 5 out of 5 for style, ease of use, features, the lot.

is there anyone who can help me how to install software on my cp coz they always say "some file may not be supported"...just wondering if there is file manager on this phone or tools?what kind of anti-virus are compatible on this phone?
