Hi i bought this phone few days ago I found that the Sms recieving time recorded on my phone is 8hrs behind the actual sending time
Can I know is it the phone or the network problem Can tis problem be corrected Tks

This phone is a awesome 1 which nokia has come up with.....the voice quality and picture quality is perfect.....
the rate as well is reasonable....
ppl shuld go for this phone,infact r going....

excellent phone.
the most well priced n feature packed phone in its segment..
superb sound quality that makes se750 a bit jealous
good qulity camera shot n great video capturing..
flight mode,aac files playback,surround sounds are some of the few to be mentioned qulities possesed in the phone..

Will nokia 6233 get infected by virus??? My nokia 6233 sometimes shows 'sending a message' text on the screen. Is this a virus?? Is it really sending any info or message from the phone?? Any idea??

hi guys,
i m using N 6233 for the past 3 months, its rox after i upgraded to latest version.
last week i put 1 GB card, its speed dnt reduced due that.
excellent performance.
master piece from nokia.
i m sure the sound quality is better than sony.
i hv one doubt, is it 2 GB card compatible for this mobile?

Hopless Mobile...ever made ... its only for those who dont receive much of SMS's coz after bot 55 msgs it keeps on telling delete some SMS to receive new ones as it has very less internal memory...n there is no setting as such to set the sms memory to Memory Card,,,what a hopeless feature ... and as it has low memory so none of the Themes r loaded ... its says Not enough memory, if u r planning to buy kindly give a second thought

Hello, I just want to thank everyone for their comments about this phone N6233, its very helpful, It helped me decide to purchase one for myself, this phone indeed almost have all the features you want in a cellphone but the best thing about it, is the price, its very reasonable its value for your money, its also have some minor problems like changing theme will set your ringing tone to default nokia tune, 2 mega pixel camera is a little grainy, fonts are tiny but aside from this it really "Rocks!" Thanks again everyone including GSM ARENA.

i bought this phone today (8/nov) after reading the reviews here and seeing the sample pictures and in my opinion it is just a good looking phone with a pathetic camera . my friends warned me about it and asked me to consider the sony ericssion model. i didn't listen and paid the price.
Rs. 14,000 gone down the drain.

the only differnce is the colour being white on music edition === dku-2 data cable is compatible with 6233 i use it everyday dku-2 on my 6233

hi, i have this fone from last one week. there is no problum in it. but i want to know if this fone is supported any software like Mp4 player DVD player etc..? if yes from where i can download these softwares?
DKU-2 Cable works with this fone but not included in Package.

Tis'is not a business phone. It's a full featured Music Phone!!!!! Beats 3250 hands down in terms of sound clarity and features, specially' the loudspeakers!!!
Please re-review again,gsmarena!! This phone rules!! Thanks Nokia for making such a wonderful phone.
Hopefully, 6233i will come with 3.2 MPIX, better music player and 30FPS video recording. Long live N6233!

Chris, tried everything i know to transfer from supplied memory card to a larger 1. Seems that certain files will go but does seem to be some protection there.
Anyway further to my previous post a few weeks ago about lack of enthusiasm for the phone due to software glitches would you believe that service center was unable to update firmware cause phone kept crashing, lol, thats a new one, anyway it was returned to nokia and has come back fully flashed to version 4.52 and lo and behold its performing brill. so much so ive now bought another one.This phone rocks and anyone having trouble with battery duration, try a nokia adaptor that allows you to use the old style thick pin charger, it charges at a lower milliamp rate and as with all rechargable batteries, lower rate charge = longer duration, worth an extra day in my case.Hope this helps peeps, laters.

I just bought a 6233 phone a few days ago. Great phone, but here's my problem. The phone came with a 64MB microSD card with a preinstalled foder called "extras" with things such as themes, ringtones, games etc. I bought separately a 512MB card so that I can store mp3's. Naturally, I wanted to transfer the contents of the 64MB card to the 512. However, I couldn't do that.
What's the reason? Is the "extras" folder copywrited or something? How can I transfer the stuff to another card? It'll be pretty inconvenient if I'm not able to because that will mean I won't have the preinstalled wallpapers and themes if I want to play my mp3's.
