still no problems with this little belter of a phone, i'm honestly amazed that nokia have now developed a phone that feels sturdy unlike those stupid interchangable cover versions. no software issue's what so ever with the 04.52v firmware

I truly love this phone! The calender is damn useful,i can like place a note under those notes and the notes can be seen below the calender box.. weee nice phone.. The quality of the sound is terrific! Crystal clear n much more louder than N series!

how many text messages can be stored in the inbox?
is there any option to store the messages on the memory card?
do the earphones produce a good sound quality?

I just got this as an upgrade from a 6680. What a great phone this is. A lot smaller than my 6680 yet it can do the same thing. Although it does not have a front camera I didnt use the one on the 6680 anyway so it doesnt matter!

Hey all,
Carphonewarehouse's performance is out of this world. Apparently my phone is ready (has been for 2 days) and when I phoned today they said they were "about to call me" - yeah yeah. Anyway, I'll have it tomorrow and shall be able to let you all know if I got the new firmware installed + any other improvements...(if any)

good phone. my first Nokia. it's a blend of business tools and entertainment at the same time. enjoy do your business whilst still listening stereo sound from the music player or the FM radio.
good gadget for man. not for woman.

What is difference between dis fone and Nokia 6131. Seems like Nokia keep making same fone over and over.
Why not change teh design???

anyone who owns a 6233 has ure fone stopped recieving data via bluetooth cause im trying to get a mp3 from my friend and have 8.9mb free on my memcard and about 4mb on my phone but it keeps saying operarion failed HELP PLEASE!!!!

2. Yes, the backlight is good.
3. Not really, although there is a "night mode" on the camera.
4. Not that I know of.
5. 6233, especially if you are about to buy it.

You *can* get a timer of your current call, but you have to look for it. During a call, select Menu > Log > Call duration (or press Menu 3 7 as a shortcut), and you will see the "Active call duration" at the top of the screen.

I am going to buy this phone, but I want to ask you for the people who have bought this phone (6233).
1. How about the video?
2. How about the backlight? Is it good?
3. Can the camera take the good photos at night?
4. Is there any problem with the volume control?
5. Which one is the best: Nokia 6233, 3250, 6270, or SE W810i, if we compare these phones?

there's a summary after call option under call settings don't think there's acounter when your on a call though.

hey ppl anyone know how i can tell how long i've been talking during a call, was a SE user, and it had a time counter but now sorely miss this , there is no time!!

no firmware issue's so far guys connectivity is fine opening & closing applications are fine have also tried the screensaver options in the phone which seem fine "previous nokia' versions would reboot when the screensaver was changed in a certain way" best nokia phone i have had to be honest so far as had sony ericsson phones as my last 2 handset "k700i & d750i" both suffered from loss of speaker sound this is why i choose nokia again. i will keep you updated but t-mobile always have the latest firmware due to excessive testing they carry out
