this phone will be great when released. the specs are good. it does not have that may features as some phone i but i bet that it will have a good success in its sale. when would it be relased?

    I'm pretty sure that this nokia would be best phone for nex 2 years.

      come guys !!
      every one knows that Nokias are more friendly to use, and more reliable, people don't just buy it to show off, they know exactly what's going on, they've experienced so many types that they know which is the most stable.
      and when talking about small phones haven't you heard about N80, show any SE phone with such features and such size !!

      and even if SE makes a good phone don't forget it's a combination of two companies S & E so for them to make good phones they have to fuse the two brands together!!

      i hope there is no hard feelings, it was just my opinion.

        quite good though 2 megapixel phone must therefore have a 16 million screen resolution!

        for sure its price is sky high!

          this is the ugliest nokia phone i've ever seen,it looks like a very bad copy of a se telephone.

              6233 & 6234 is totally the SAME except for the design.. but how come the voting results of both phones r totally DIFFERENT this is hella strange.. the only difference is the DAM design thats all!

                  Samsung was the one to respond the new threat with their exceptional D600!!!
                  (thats exactly what NOKIA did with 6230-6230i).
                  But it took almost one year for Nokia to come up with a 2mp small size competitor to the K750,a whole year to ANOUNCE not RELEASE the new phone,by the time 6233 hit the market a few weeks later SE will already prepared their next exemple to lead the way(3mp maybe?) sharp created...

                    Now about the K750 vs 6230i
                    to further compare those phones is fairly ridiculus.
                    2mp K750 is in a totally other class,
                    it is superior in every way u can feel it if u have both mobiles in ur hand simultaneusly,
                    6230i was an urgent try to produce a new best seller and offer the numbers 6230 couldnt,the gap over competition was big
                    and in a word of a 2mp sharp 902 6230 was a bad joke,so Nokia came up with the 6230i to claim the place of best of the best in its category and they were hurry(as always) to announce it
                    but it was too late, too litle,
                    a couple of weeks later SE surpised Nokia(as always) and the world offering the small wonder K750 wich was one step further than the competition again,
                    main competitors(samsung)D500 and (NOKIA)6230i were breathless,they lost again...

                      now about the K700 vs 6230
                      hundreds of words were written about them,
                      the facts is 6230 was released a little earlier,but its appearance was anounced much earlier,thats a known Nokia policy,
                      the K700 was developing paralel with the 6230,SE wouldnt have the time to produce it from the beginning in 2months time,
                      thats logical,
                      those phones were similar in all aspects,
                      K700 had the advantage in quality of Display,sound(speakers and headset),battery, camera... everything that was important back then.
                      6230 had edge i m sure that the percentage wich choosed 6230 over K700 was < 1%
                      and MMC,MMC ment additional costs and the 42mb internal memory had was considered an impressive number for the time being...
                      its true 6230 had better sales but do u know why,how and where?
                      because 6230 had better sells in regions that k700 had minimal,there are places in earth even Europe that not all the phone companies have posts and not all of them the same treatment,Nokia as the biggest phone company has all the privileges and connections,
                      another reason is that too many people wich are clueless,
                      buy phones by brand and by social status and not their needs,
                      NOKIA phones are one of the most expensive and recognisable in the market and many people who want to show up,
                      buy what others bought,because somebody says its better, because its more expensive etc etc
                      same thing happens with cars and many others products too in those countries.
                      In countries wich people actually think before buy and all the companies are easy to find the situation was if not balanced but towards K700 side...

                        Thats was my opinion against urs,i ve stated my arguements to u have any other than the reliabilty,
                        u r supporting that NOKIA phones have the best reliablity?
                        thats totally absurd,u have no back to proove it and u will never find simply because there arent.
                        Unless u r just another guy who thinks there are better because there are more expensive;-)then i m wasting my time here.
                        Nokia,SE,Samsung and Sharp doesnt build their handsets based on reability,
                        they build them to achieve the best cost/features raport,a mobile is destinated to last 3-5 years and then replaced,
                        active users(not ur friend with the 51**)of modern tech,the ones who are actually able to use the new a tech phone like 6233 may offer dont put reability first...
                        Actually Nokia had the highest numbers of service replacements the last years Samsung and SE to follow.
                        That doesnt mean that those copanies are the most unreliable though,
                        if u take a look what kind of problems appear and when u will that the phons most solicitated and with the most features are the ones to have problems first
                        and the quality differs from device to device within the same company.
                        so there is no such a think as reability on phones,thats a myth,
                        Siemens was said to be number one in this sector just because it has Germans roots
                        and the german products(Mercedes,BMW) are considered to have the best reablity,but by the time siemens entered to the high features phone era, their reability colapsed

                          Aparadectos, you are wrong, the k700 was the HUGE development to compete with nokia 6230 (they added fm radio, more memory, mp3 support and more resolution)
                          that and nokia still won because the MMC,EDGE, design, (sells tell upon) then when nokia released the rumors of its 6230i version (6300 when rumored at that time), SE began the k750 at the same time,
                          its competition, nokia have take back its position as 1# in technology, like it or not,
                          and don't say nokia phones are crappy because they last longer than any other phones, i got a friend that have his nokia 51** for almost 9 years now and still working nicely.

                                Well, this is not rival to SE K750, this is rival to K850 which is appear in 2nd quartal 2006. It will has 3mp camera and lots of new function, this phone will beat N6233!

                                  For kashar's comm I think you forgot a major option on this phone that was not on the 6230 or 6230i, is that he has widescreen.

                                      Its so good that Nokia has launched this model!. Finally they make a good mobile that can replace may 6230.
                                      but, it has a flash ?seems not....

                                        This phone is currently underated,
                                        because NOKIA didnt started its comercil tricks of hyper publicity yet,

                                        so far its pretty obvius
                                        6230 < K700 < 6230i < K750 6233 is the next step,
                                        comparing it to 6230i is a huge step forward,
                                        -this phone is 3g
                                        -much better display from 6230i
                                        -stereo speakers!
                                        -double memory and the capacity to use 2gb instead of 512mb max
                                        -2mp cam

                                        +6230i had symbian,but what symbian really offers more to the vast majority of users that arent pc programmers?
                                        The symbian phones so far had many bug/soft problems, slower menu, viruses etc etc
                                        +The other advantage of 6230 is the slighty smaller dimensions(0.5cm)and the superior design(though black 6233 is competitive)
