6233 in the Nokia answer to the superiority of K750 and it has what it takes to compete it,
on theory it has a better display,
but if we take notice of 6230i just an improoved version of the mediocry 6230 display, we cant be sure if we dont test it first,
i have reasons to believe that NOKIA took them time now to complete 6233 and it wasnt hurried lounch as it was with the 6230i(6230iwas urgently developed to compete the K700 superiority)
6233 is a new platform and all the new NOKIA devices will have same display from now on,we will see how noticable this dif will be...
-the sound,6233 has 64 polyphonic,but so had the 6230i and 6230i doesnt sound as good (or loud) as the K750i,
if 6233 had the same speaker 6230i has,
then it would be a looser,but i believe we are speaking for a new platoform here and the stereo speaker detail almost confirm that;-)
on the other hand Sony has a great exp on sound devices and K750/W800 are top on the their field of headset sound quality,maybe the 6233 will come one step closer...
-Memory, 6233 has double internal memory,
we will see what card will be included in the original packet,
but we already know it will support up to 2GB,so us K750
-Battery,its always the NOKIA's flaw instead of SE(figures as Ericsson use to build batteries for submarines and Sony has decades of research upon it)

-The camera, K750 had one of the best(if not the best)2megapixel cam in the market,
SE was surpised it worked so well,maybe they got lucky, maybe Sony's experiance on digital cams was decisive,but the point is, K750 tiny and "cheap" cam can compete one to one the best Carl Zeiss (cam of N90) NOKIA has to offer,6233 wont have a better cam than N90 but it would definitly have a better cam than the mediocre 6230 had(and the enhanged version 6230i had)
-the display,6233 sould have an imressive display,its not only the fact that it has 256k colours(goodbuy 6230),but the impressive resolution of 240x320,
it sould be a winner here but from my experiance NOKIA failed to provide displays according to the number of the resolution in their smallest handsets,
they are just not sharp enough and they appear so blure(at least to my eyes,i ve seen many Sharp devices ;-) )
so we have to see it to judge it.
-the dimensions/design,
K750 is almost one cm shorter and if u are used to it, u will understand the dif,
but u wont if u r using 6230i...(donr forget 6233 is UMTS device)
the black K750 has a top design,very elegant,
its unchangeable cover make it look and feel very sturdy,
i m not sure the business class would be happy to curry around a 6233...
-Price 6233 is the newest mobile and NOKIA policy over price isnt the best possible,
if price is an issue then K750 or 6230i sould be prefered because esp K750 offer fairly the same in a lower price(about 300euros)
If 6233 has a bigger price tag than 450euros (and it might be since its UMTS)
then its overpriced and it def not worth that diferrence...

This phone is currently underated,
because NOKIA didnt started its comercil tricks of hyper publicity yet,
so far its pretty obvius

pls read: for those of you complains so much bout this phone and other phones, like it lacks this features and that and i dont like the design, you dont need to post those message here. it is not welcome here. just choose and buy the phone that suits you and buy it! it's a matter of choice, you know. much better, if you cant find the phone that satisfies you, why not make a phone of your own???

Quite an impressive phone with good feature .
However really hope this phone support Real video and audio also . It is becoming quite common nowadays the real format and change the Pop-Port USB to mini USB feature.

if only the design was much smarter..
as most of u guys say it looks like an entry level fone..

The Nokia 6230 Series is really getting smarter and feature rich. My wish for next family member: Design of 6230i and should house Symbian OS - A perfect phone.

This phone looks so much like Nokia 6020 and not like 6230i :((. I don't like the design of this phone.
