Hi i have a problem with my 6260.The sound is kind of weak, i tried to adjust the volume but the volume for the profiles tones could not be adjusted, i mean if you are tring to adjust the volume the sound is the same no difference from level 1 to very loud.The speaker is also too quiet, you can bearly hear the person you are talking to or if the phone is ringing.
I made a comparation with another 6260 and that one was ok. Do u think is a software or hardware problem ?

Hi guys, got this fone last monday......BEST PHONE EVER! i can't find a fault. If you want a fone that is feature packed get the Nokia 6260.

hey all,does this phone play wavs as ringtone and is there anyway to play stereo mp3's on it and also i hear that the speaker sound is like 6600,but i want to know if anyone can tell me if thats ture,thanx :)

well this is really a true nokia phone.i have been using this fone since 5 months n i have no complaints regarding this fone.it has nearly all the features like bluetooth n infrared port for data transfer. i really love this clamshell.

sorry if this was discussed already but , I am about to buy this phone so can anyone please tell me if t-zones will work on this phone? if so how hard is it to configure the t-zones? would you just have to type in wap.voicetream.com as a access point?

well i am about to buy the Nokia 6260 and i have yet to see a positive feed back or response here or even word or mouth either but i guess the only things that drew me towards this phone was and it the feature etc

Harris thats right.
You can only change the face plates but not the entire casing or housing of the unit. professionals "might" be able to change it entirely leaving just the curcuitboard and screen to be used, but its risky and good as buying a new unit.

oh yeah by the way, the person who wuz asking about changing the housing to black. there are no black housings to cover the whole phone , but you can change to faceplates!!!!

Hi Thim,
Of course you can change the cover. It's quite simple, all you need is a new cover (plenty on eBay) and a T6 screwdriver. The covers come with instructions. I change the cover on mine depending what I'm wearing - pink, blue, black, or the original silver. Don't listen to anyone who says you can't.

Yes, computers has connectible bluetooth and infrared port.
But it's actually easier to transfer files or MP3 songs using data cable compared to infrared and bluetooth. And its also cheaper.

Did computer have the Bluetooth and infrared?if got i can transfer mp3 more easily than using usb cable.can someone tell me whether got anot?
