Hi all, I am now going to answer some of the recent questions.

Masihedu, I sent you a very useful answering machine. The letter in your e-mail is named "Answering machine for 6260".

Jade, dude, do you even know what USB or Pop-Port is? :) USB port DOESN'T mean that your cellphone has USB port in it, where you can plug any USB things. USB port means that it has a port whose cable ends with USB port. And that's exactly what pop-port is. The one end of the cable (NOKIA Data Cable DKU-2 is compatible with 6260) is pluged in the telephone's pop-port and the other end is pluged in the computer's USB port.

For all of you that are wondering if you can play ngage games on you phones. The answer is YES, you can! If anyone wants to know more, post your e-mails and I can send you full detailed descrription of how exactly you should do it (bacause it's not a piece of cake, well, it's not that hard either but there is a special program you have to install in order to be able to install the ngage games themselves.). If a lot of you are interested I may post it here.

      Bye for now.

VICTOR, all you need to do is just install a new realone player software into it. simple as that. thats what i did to my 3650. i think this will work the same way too.

WILL, yes, 3gp and Mpeg4, no problem.

CRAZYTEEN, for normal usage, about two to three days i'd say. the games in 6260 are not similar to ngage. and it depends where are you from and i can tell you the price if you're from malaysia. zitron and ap are the manufacturers of phones in malaysia.

                      Hi guys..
I've got a few questions about this phone. Sorry if the questions have already been answered in the forum but plz giv an answer:).

                      1. How long does the battery stand when u use it 'normally',i.e, listening to MP3,playing games etc.

                      2. Are games(More like Ngage 1s) available on cd n what's the approx. price of 1 and how many games does it contain?

                      3. Whats the 'Zitron' and 'AP' thing?

                      5. Is there any looseness in the 'bodywork;, e.g, at the hinge? I mean, is the framework reliable?

Yeah it can play converted 3gp file from computer. I actually converted a full length movie to 3gp format before and uploaded it to my phone.

im not sure with mpeg-4 though. havent tried. sounds like it will work though, but IM NOT SURE.

Bliss, yeah really need to handle this with care. that is why i do not use the camera function too often, cause the hinge is getting looser each time i twist and turn it. haha.

                                  no problem Victor.

the only major problem i face with this phone is the RealOne player. the volume is too high no matter how low you put it. from what i understand, its a bug in this phone. might consider changing the realone player. sigh.

                                    Hi T3o =)

                                    Not true.
I actually have a couple of MP3 that is stored in my Memory Card and I use them as my ring tone.

Well, my dad just swaped his brand new Nk 6260 for mine SE T630.

Well this phone is good, i am for the first time using a flap phone, feeling odd about it, but i like this phone, has decent stuff, works well, wish mp3 could be in stereo, but i dont use it has a mp3 player anyways. The call/talk quality is good, clear for me, using firmware 3.0.448, just flashed it, at my dealer, but one note, please make seperate backup of the data on your phone, as when i saved my backup, both on pc and mem card, after flashing it i tired restoring the backup and the camera wouldnt work, the goto and calender placement changed, then i did a hard format, copied my contacts, and then reinstalled every application, and rest was all in mem card so that was safe.

It rebooted of the latest firmware, twice, but other than that is stable,i own the black one, radio is fine, calender doesnt have the birthay slot, speed is good, screen is beautiful, keypad is good too other than the placement of the navigation, it is loose so i stuck a plastic on it, bluish in color, which keeps water from entering inside.

In short its a solid phone in a cheap plastic body, i would say that the team which designed it should be fired , so is the production and project manager of this phone team. I would also like to add the camera twist thing is a gimmic, no need to twist it in 5 directions, and yes the off button is pressed in another design/production issue.

I have installed many applications, best that i love is the answering machine one, works beautifully, got a sweet lady to record the message and volla my friends kept asking me who is she ;).

Havent played any games, but looking for decent time pass one.

If Nokia wants to refresh this model it has to fix the said issues, which is overshadowing this beautiful phone.

I am also interested in meeting other fellow 6260 users.

                                      cheers

Hello ... i really need help on this problem...
I`ve heard something about this type of memory card used on nokia 6260.
Can you make your mp3`s ring when you get a call if they are on the memory card? I`ve heard that you have to copy them in the phone memory which is very small... is this true ?
