This is a reply to Thi. Personally between the Nokia 6260, 6670 & 7610 is 6260 is a clamshell. I have the 6260 and I love it. I also have the 6600. Anyways what I like about the 6260 is the only clamshell with a bluetooth. Its stacked with features and its pretty light in my opinion. The only thing I dont like about it is they left too much space which contributed to the rather big size. The Nokia 6670 has just slightly more features than the 7610. The shape and size is almost desame although I like the way the 7610 looks wise.

i've got my 6260 for over 2 months now and i'm really satisfied. only the mp3 quality is to bad. What i like most is that you can also play Ngage games on the 6260 (not all becuz the processor is to slow.) anyway. I red that someone has upgraded his camera? could you send me the file or tell the name of that program? thnx

I Just bought this phone....i thought the MP3 Sound quality equal with N-GAGE. as a matter of fact, the MP3 Quality is SUCK!!!!

This is a damn good phone because it has all the features you need, plus the symbian software too. I have just upgraded my 6260 to 1.3 megapixels after installing one of the symbian file. So cool!!

Well, I personally have this phone. So far its stacked with features that half of it, I dont really use although its good to have it anyways. What really drawn me to this phone was its the only Nokia Flip Phone with a Bluetooth (cant live w/out it). I was dissapointed on the material they used for the casing and the color finish. I would give it 7 out of 10.

eh... only 6 mb? is the memory expandible? im thinkin about gettin this.. but im not 100% sure.... i don't like the nokia screens, there all so unclear, is this one the same? it's this or the SE S700i... help guys:)

Correction:
The radio on this phone doesn't play back stereo quality, it's achieved by using a STEREO headset,... if you unplug the headset and use loudspeaker instead, it'll be MONO... That's because the phone speaker is MONO... Hence, with that said, with STEREO headset, you can hear MP3 playback at STEREO quality... Same goes for 6600 and 7610 and other Nokia MONO speaker phone...
As for the loudness, I find that a pros instead of a cons, because I'm dissapointed with 6600 and 7610 volume, especially UltraMP3 playback, and ringtones... can hardly hear it in crowd, but 6260 is loud, except it's not clear due to MONO quality... Anyway, becareful when using headphones to hear MP3 as it's really loud using headphones, have to adjust the volume almost half! UltraMP3 Volume adjust doesn't seem to work with headphones, MP3Player does...
Next, for the camera, I've tried using the "camcorder" style, by turning in 90 degrees, the quality can be set to 640X480 (VGA mode) by setting it in SETTINGS (BEFORE you go into camcorder mode, set the default settings, turn VGA mode ON)...
Overall, it's a very good phone at a very good price, it's the most complete Nokia phone after 6600...
Only drawbacks I feel in this phone is just:
I. Poor Camera Quality (I mean, flip and twist, a good camera taking function, but why poor quality, maybe they should come out with a "6260i" with better camera quality?)
II. MONO speaker
Lastly, this phone is very fragile, need to take very good care...
(I don't find the size as a drawback, as most symbian phones are about the same size or some are thicker in size, so I believe the size are very reasonable... I believe if they want to make it shorter in length, they could've design it like 6600 where the memory and sim card is under the battery, then the phone will not have hot-swappable memory and the phone will be thicker in size... )

Instead of phone book, contact sub sub sub directory, which makes in not too comfortable to change from SIM directory to phone directory

Maybe I got a monday phone but thats my impression:
Ringtone sound:
The sound quality is poor
(rattle and noise);
Receiver sound;
Low sound and background noise
I am frightened to use the mobile in front of my friends.
The price is not too high, the quality too.

sorry...allow me to finish...
...buissnes users, style freaks and those in search of a very reliable phone! Some people say there 6260 mobiles have crashed but thats just an error with YOUR phone not the 6260.
All in all a good buy. 8/10
