Nokia 6260 slide

I currently have a Nokia E65. I set the device up to connect to 802.11b/g networks when available and check my email every 30 minutes. However it has one very annoying quirk! Occasionally when the phone was trying to check my email it would fail, and DISABLE the automatic email check! I think it would do this when it was trying to check and I then left the 802.11b/g signal area. This defeats the purpose as I then have to manually check it to make sure it's checking for new emails next time I enter a 802.11b/g area.
So my question is - has anyone who has used this phone experienced this? I was thinking of upgrading to the Nokia 6260 slide for the GPS feature and its small form factor, but I'd hate for it to have this quirk as well.

i heard abt the problem in 6260 slide that is when u activate the camera and while using it it shows some error regarding sim

The only thing i find that sucks is that the answer keys on the front of the phone are really small.

cool 5 mp carl zaiss lens on s40..unfortunately 6710 hasn't been released in indonesia n i don't know when..does 6710 have lens cover??thanks for the answer..

i need an english-chinese dictionary on my 6260s, (i once found a free version provided by nokia, but it was only for Nokia N73) i couldn't find it anywhere...could anyone tell me where i can get it from?

i heard it can't connect to a public hotspot coz it doesn't support tabbed browser interface, (because to authorize they require you to click on a pop-up window).
is tht true?
