In response to your inquiry, the Nokia 6260 Slide is upcoming phone model which are not yet to be released in the Malaysia market. All new product launches are carrier and market dependent in all countries as all phones will have to undergo testing and approval from the authorities in the respective country. Testing will be conducted to ensure compatibility with the networks and government regulations. As such, we are unable to confirm if when will be the releasing date of the Nokia 6260 Slide.

Is there anyway to set a screensaver? On startup it displays date and time which goes off after a few seconds. Can't find a way to enable the screensaver.

just bought it 3 days ago.i think its ok but the problem comes with texting.it has small keypads that makes me press the wrong keys!so if you have big fingers,i suggest dont get his one.

suganth, 21 Jun 2009can anyone help. whether i shal go for 6260slide or n79 or ... morethey are all really different... if you want a good camera then immediatly rule out the sony ericsson. its camera is crap. then its down the whether u want a bar phone or a slider phone... easy as that

I experienced problems with this phone (firmware v 04.36):
- When accessing bluetooth menu, the phone hangs for about 2-3 seconds. And then (luckily) resumes normaly.
- The phone cannot finished back up process via pc suit application (usually hangs near completion).
- There's no setting for display time out (though sometimes the 'time out watch' displayed randomly).
Anybody has the same problem here?

according to my knowledge themes are not depended on the size of the screen :) so dont worry abt that

Wouldn't it be harder to find games and themes for this phone? since it has 320x480 pixels and not 240x320 like other models?

Hi, i am very Happy withe this phone,i bought thise phone last week
1 i like very much the s40 , not so much the s60
2 the camera is very very good
3 the display is very good under the sun
4 when you are on a call the sound is very clear and loud , same for the loud speaker
5 the battery is good
6 is not a finger print magnet
7 the keys are big,you are not going to pres the wrong number
8 you can use as a mp3, the media player is very good
9 has wlan but the screen is to small to surf the net , at lest for me , i use glasses
10 has gps but you need to install the program.
I think is a very good phone , from mi point of wiev it has all you need in a phone
