yeah, let's hope for that!!! haha!! yea, my ex-phone is 7610 too... and i can say that phone rocks too! i used it for a year already,i have it the first time it came out here... the same feelings... one of the coolest guy and then after a while...toink! new phones after new phones came out... and a lot of peeps got same phone as mine too... ahehehe... i dunno, are the people here gettin richer and richer or it's just that the phone is gettin a boost in its depreciation... :)

Hey wafu.. i know mann.. im gonna go there on march or april.. i doubt this phone is already old and gone by the time i get there.. hopefully not.. i payed alot of money for this phone to get overated that fast.. im just hoping! i mean last year i bought a 7610 here when i went there 6630 came out.. i was so pissed.. my phone got ignored.. hehehe. hopefully this would stay in the top of the market when i get there.. i wanna see some eyes on my phone..
Pls N80 don't come out yet.. N80 is the only phone that would knock this baby out.. or maybe the 6280 or N91.. i don't know..

hey wafu.. i know these.. i have cuzns who go to school there in mnla.. to be in the game ur cell gotta me inn too.. chicks will love you and people will go like "where did he get that?" yeah im in New York City right now, been living here for 8yrs now.. in philippines im from pampanga..

Coolest guy in the Philippines??? LOLZ! i think that would be for a while if ever...hahaha.. the phones here depreciate fast... haha... the next time you know it, everybody has phone like this... :D

Alright!! Way to go Jo!! Welcome to the 6270 club!! i know you would love it.. I love it too.. i just had a little doubts a while ago.. because alot of people are trashing it in Howardforums.. they said its cheap design! cheap material was used on the housing! too much sqeeking sound, the phone is not solid.. all bunch of trash talkin!! well ive waited too long to give up on this phone! i think its nice! it knocks out the rivals Samsung D600 and SE K750i..
Way to go NOKIA!!

got my nokia 6270 =D
it a nice phone!!!! it have a very nice screen
it looks more colorful than samsung d600 and SE w900i the camera is nice and yes the flash does work!!!! its not a torch like SE k750i (it works from a meter thats it enough for such a small flash)
the pictures looks nice thx to the big screen
the mp3 its better than expected!!! it have a surround effect that its cool to bones!!!
it comes with a 512mb miniSD (the best way to upload lots of files its to have a reader) even the usb cable that the phone brings its fast enough for everything
EDGE works nicely, i downloaded video in seconds.
its a great phone looks durable like all others nokia phones (i got a 6230 for 2 years now and no problems with it
the construction it nice
the slide takes practice but then its easy
i saw the d600 since i was shopping and i prefered the 6270 by alot. wee nokia rulez

ok wafu.. No you cannot accept any file more than 4MB via bluetooth or infrared.. because when you accept file it automtically goes to your phone memory on gallery/receive files. which your phone memory has a total of 9MB of shared memory.. what they means by shared is everything that is installed on your phone uses that memory (example: games, applications, ringtones, themes, etc) i know it sucks! and the only left memory for you is 4MB.. so there you go! the best way for you to upload files to your phone is sync it to the PC.. the PC suite is very nice and user friendly.. and the transfer is fast too..
Im telling you your gonna love the phone!! you can do so much!! you will be the coolest guy in philippines for having that phone now.. you know how it is.. just don't show it off outside the streets.. it could be your life too..
and by the way i don't think lancerev would know where is greenhills.. i don't think he's from the philippines.. just to let lancerev know greenhills is the place for all the mobile phones in philippines.. anything your looking for you would find it there, buy and sell, fix.. accesories.. anything and everything!

Have this phone for a week now. I'm satisfied and happy with it. I mainly use this for calls, txts, surf (while on my yosi break), and play mp3s.
It has really good features, considering it's only an s40 phone. Though it's really hard to find apps and games for this, but really deosn't matter. A phone is a phone, and any added feature is good for me.
For those who are trying to use the nokia site to set up their GPRS/WAP, try using the setting for 6280. That should work.

to gwapz(sorry, i thought it was posted by lancerev): coz, am sending, via bluetooth, a 6mb song to my phone, and it said that my memory is full...but i have my memory card inserted... do i have to configure my memory to be used (phone mem/ memory card)? i think am gonna be having a hard time adapting to this phone..hehehe...
to lancerev: i think i saw one in greenhills... try to check the place, i think they have one... :'] if you're from the philippines, that is.. [^^,]

gigi3000 i really doubt and think.. its your SIM.. have you tried any of your friends SIM and try sending txt msg and receive txt msg.. and testing your voicmail.. if you tell me that you have tried all of those.. then its defenitely the phone prob!

this is how i feel about the nokia 6270: it's a great looking phone, the software is different from any nokia i've ever had and i only had nokia phones in my life..bought this phone 1 week ago after making love to it for months, waiting for it to be available. sent it back 2 days ago after trying to figure out why i was having problems with voice mail and sms.. would not be notified when someone left a voice message and would not send or receive text msg...Now i'm waiting to get a new one to see whether there was a problem with the phone or not. will let you all know. One thing that is strange is that you can't send or receive sms..

To all Nokia 6270 owners.. How do you guys enjoy your phone? Do you guys think its worth keeping? I mean is it worth it.. Alot of people have complain about this phone.. the gap thing in the slide, cheap construct, slow processor, very hard to open memory card slot, Glitches.. How do you guys comply about these comments?
would you trade it with any phone that are out right now? and what phone would that be? NOKIA?
Pls HELP.. I need people's opinion!! before i make my up my mind on selling my 6270.. i just wanna know if its worth keeping..

Sad to hear that sunny.. oh well this phone didn't come out here in the US and i have it, i have the blackish brown one.. anyhow this phone does not play AVI.. it only plays MPEG4 or 3GP video format. and yeah you can watch movies.. if you convert them to the file i specified.. and you know what's interesting you can play the movie sidways and in full screen. awesome right?

hi guys, in Malaysia only one colour is available for this phone. So disappointed actually. But can I check with you guys can this play avi files for movie? anyone advice me on this?
