gwapz, in my case, the problem comes from the ATT sim card. i tried it with a my friend's cingular sim card and the voice message icon is working. i am not sure what the difference is since ATT has merged with cingular (the same company). anyways, i hope somebody will come up with a solutions. by the way, i have no problem with the text message. it's working fine

So far so good. Great phone and easy to used. Best of all, memory is expandable. Anyone have the game "Poetical" in their phone? How to get a pets?

just be patience wafu.. im desperately waiting for the FIRMWARE UPDATE myself. like i said my phone has an error or glitch. they have to fix that.. its a software issue.

geeez.. thanxzz.. i don't really play around with my phone alot.. but i got it...
Well you can install softwares but i don't recommend it.. because once you FIRMWARE UPDATE your phone all of does would be erased! and i don't even know if you can save the software into the memory card.. its like reformatting your computer. but on this one reformatting it and updating the software.
FIRMWARE UPDATE is updating your system on your phone.. updating it to the latest as possible fixing all the glitches and error from the previous firmware that it has right now.. if you wanna check your firmware type this *#0000# and you will see this V 03.53. we have the same FIRMWARE right now.. because there is no update yet.. NOKIA haven't made one yet.. hopefully it comes out soon. cause i have some glitch to fix.

ei gwapz, you mean you don't have the unlimited video rec? there's a setting here in my phone wherein i can put it to unlimited video mode... try going to options/settings menu, you will find there an option where you can put your vid to unlimited...
also, you mean, i have to have the firmware first before installing some softwares? actually, i dunno what firmware is... ahehe.. XD

Good Going wafu.. that's sucks.. i cannot show off here.. alot people here are not into phones.. they don't care.. i guess i gotta wait till march to show off.. hopefully its still popular.. well to be sarcastic.. they haven't even made a FIRMWARE UPDATE for this phone yet.. don't expect legit softwares to come out now.. wait for the FIRMWARE UPDATE 1st then look for softwares.. well check greenhills and check what they can do for you.. they can probably brake that code for the 10 sec video recording and make it unlimited.. greenhills people can do amazing things.. until now they amaze me.. i feel jelous of you.. i wish im there right now hangin out @ robinson's place manila and showing off my phone..

gwapz, are there any software or applications now for this phone? or like some Office apps? :]
and.. yeah, it is very pop here in the philippines...they always ask me what model is my phone...or when was it released ...hahaa... popular!...uhm..as of now...i enjoy it...ahehe... but, nokia phone release is fast here, as we know it... now it's pop, tomorrow it's nothing...
but in fairness, to some of you who asks the how-do-you-feel-about-6270...well, it is cool..user-friendly... bulkyness is not much of a prob to me... the camera is cool..2MegaPix... the video is alot better from my recent phone (7610)...and a 512MB external memo!!! :D

This is for Don.. uhmmm 6233 for 6270.. well im not into the video thingy.. but what i can tell you is.. the 6270 is out and available.. and the 6233 is not.. and 6233 is quite big for a bar phone.. and 6270 just feels perfect in the hand.. and its a slider.. compare both specs..

hey guys i have done my research.. here is the answer to your problem!
It's a software issue with the 6270. It won't recognize the trigger from Cingular for the MWI
check out this thread!! we are not alone.. alot of CINGULAR customers who have this phone says the same thing.. even ROGERS..

whihc phone should i buy 6270 or 6233...which one is better.....as i herad that 6270 has (qcif) video shootin, which does not shoot video accurately......while 6233 has better video shooting abilities.......please advice....

Was thinking of getting nokia 6111 becos of its appearance.. I reckon its better then 6270 but had bad comments about it so gave up... Was wondering for those who already have this phone... Do you regret getting it? If so why??
These are the first few phones nokia had released with the more *catchy* appearance yet seems like theres quite a number of problems.. any reccomendations welcome to my email... so its the 2 megapixel camera good? Any big problems or just minor ones like any other phone?? or should i just go and get a samsung one which mite be more speacialized in slides and seem to be less of a problem??

good for you slick nice gift.. atleast u had ur GF to give you that.. but me i got it for myself as a xmas gift.. lolz. so the phone, is it already popular there? i mean alot of people got it yet? i don't trust greenhills that much.. i feel there's alot of scam there. well Im not from there im in NYC right now.. but im full blooded filipino speak the language.. i go there every year.. which is hott.. people look at my phones..

i bought this from greenhills...trade in my 7610 + Php12+++ = n6270..hahah... glitches? uhm, none at the moment.. if there's any ill message you up... i think this is made in china...with the 512MB memory card...

wafu to tell you the truth.. people in the philippines appreciate technology.. they rather buy cell phones than eat 3 times a day or don't eat at all.. so let me guess your going to sell your 7610 to your close friend or neighbors or if desperate you go to greenhills and find a deal for it.. that's a filipino way of disposing phones.. or maybe youll give it to family members.. right now were the cool guys.. few months from now.. were nothing. hehehe.. hey gwapz, yup, I'm noyps. Not sure how much, got it as a xmas gift from my gf. But I looked around and it's priced here around P21K to P24K (US$400~). I bet you can find a better deal at greenhils, but haven't been there for a while. Mine has 512MB.
