Yes, this truly is a nice phone. Me and my pal went ouy comparing phones (he+s got a K750i. The display, speakers and even how it feels is better in the Nokia. The autofocus is alright in close-ups but the difference is not radical and in landscape photos he 6270 did exactly as well or even better..
Btw, can you clean the lense with normal paper or so? A lense cover would be handy...

This is for Dreadnought.. Well Sony Ericsson phones are also the same in camera wise..
Nokia PC Suite is Awesome!! very nice interface, very user friendly, fast media transfer from PC to phone.

The sound quality in MP3 is absolutely great, much more than I expected.
My only problem seems to be taking photos, if your hand shakes even a little bit, the picture becomes blur.

This is for LONG.. well you have asked how many songs can you download into the phone..
well the answer is it all depends on you and your memory..
if you fill your miniSD with all songs.. you cannot store anymore images in your miniSD.. your 9MB shared memory will be used..
so its up to you and how much memory you have..
friendly suggestion as for my research the phone can take up to 1GB miniSD.. i don't know about higher than that..
I have a 512 miniSD and i have only 20 songs.. good enough for an hour train ride to work.. and i have more memory left in my card un used..

hey r well according to gsmarena specs provided it says video(QCIF) i don't really know what does that means.. you can check the nokia europe website..

you know what r i don't really know does resolution ur talkin about.. all i know about this phone is it can record video in 3gp format and plays 3gp and mpeg layer 4 files..

hey gwapz does the phone take videos in qcif resolution or something higher?? coz the 6280 takes videos at 30 fps in cif and 15 fps in vga...

hey cola i just noticed something with my phone after i tested the voicemail.. now the icon doesn't wanna dissapear. even do i erased the message in my voicemail.. if you know the other way around of your problem notify me.. hehehe.. i mean i don't have a problem with the icon.. it doesn't bother me.. i guess i will just take out the battery and restart the phone.. i guess it would dissapear.. i hope your phone prob get fix.

hey cola i don't know what you did to your phone.. because mine seems to be working fine. if you want i can send you some image of my phone that it has a voice message icon in the top and a text message to notify me that i have a voicemail.. mine is working A ok.. i have a question by the way.. where did you get the CINGULAR WAP/GPRS settings and MMS? i wanna configur mine..

This is for Rocky.. YES! when they transfer file to you via bluetooth it goes to the folder in the gallery called receive files.. and YES that's in the phone memory.. which you have 9MB shared.. you can transfer the file anyway into the SD card.. that's not a problem to me.
To all people!! THE PHONE IS GREAT!! it doesn't look cheap!! THE DESIGN IS AWESOME!!

No problem at all Nokia is a Nokia it doesn't matter what country it was made! all nokia parts are made in FINLAND they have factories all around the world just to make their phone.. So Like I said.. There is no such thing as a cheap built NOKIA!! cmon guys they make millions of phone! at least one out of does millions is a dud.. Nokia is not a god.. they are not perfect!!

Series 40 are Java OS phones like the 6230, 6610, 5140 etc..
Do you get it now? 6270 is a Series 40 phone!

it seems that some ppl need to do some serious reading (previous pages) around here...
As for the batt life: i've read another guy's report and it goes like this:
the low battery warning appeared 57 hrs after the last charge (the 3rd one overall) during which:
1. 40-60 mins spent on calls
2. 2h 30' radio of which 30' on the loudspeakers (this answers rocky's Q nr 3)
3. some bt synchro
4. the usual operation stuff (phone book browsing, some messages, bla bla bla...)
Seems quite good to me. Any objections?
Another guy tried the BL-6C battery which is 1070 mAh (instead of the existing BL-5C of 900mAh) and it suites perfectly. Battery killers, r u there?

ei guys...im planning to buy a new Nokia phone this week...and im still choosing between N70 and 6270...i know that N70 has more improved and developed features compared to 6270...will someone help me...i have some questions about nokia 6270 and i really really need your answer ASAP...
(Questions based on your opinons):
1. is it user friendly?
2. is it true that you can only save the files transferred via bluetooth on the Phone Memory only? (very important)
3. How much is the capacity of the Phone Memory (Very Important)
4. can someone explain to me all the difference between Series 60 platform to series 40 platform...pls....
5. Imaging: is it like the nokia N70 wherein the galleries are displayed in a different way as compared to 6600, 3660, 3230...etc)
6. is the battery life really that fast consumer?

gwapz, does your phone show the voice message "icon" when somebody leaves a voice message.
everything is working fine. even, i set the internet connection to the phone. Just the voice message icon that is not appearing!

Got the memory card in alright. I´ve taken some pictures indoors, flash is alright but you have to hold the camera very steady so that the pic wont get blur...
