Hi Guys, a merry Christmas to all of you.
I m thinking of buying the N 6270...this new year.
I know its a gr8 fone....i just got a few queries b4 i buy it....
i've heard a lot abt ppl saying that the files tranfered by bt a saved only 2 the internal memory and not the Mini SD..
hay guys i hav no probs with this....no one ever transfers files bigger then 5-6 MB via bt.
the queries i hav r:
1) Can i transfer games via bt. ( can't do in the Samsung E-730 my bro haz it....dats not cool)
2) R the Files tranfered trough the USB also saved 2 the internal memory...or can i save them 2 the Mini SD....(without The card reader...i mean)
3) My bro has radio on his mobile and he can only play it on the loud speaker when the earphones are inserted...as it works as a receiver...is it also required 4 the N6270 or can i play FM without the headset??.
4) I noticed that a part of the back slide projects outside the front cover....is it to enable talking without opening the phone....or do i hav 2 open it every time i hav 2 talk??
5) Do the pictures look strange when one changes the view from lanscape 2 portrait??
6) N E other probs u guyz notices, ur free 2 share...plzzzz....i gotta know dudes.....

I just got mine... Looks stunning, and feels light (maybe its just me). Battery loading now. I inserted the SIM-card, but when I to insert the 128 miniSD it goes in just a bit. Is this the meaning or should you be able to close the cover? I mean, now the memory card sticks out about 1mm.
And btw, its made in Germany.

well cola i haven't test that out yet.. doesn't even txt you that you have voice message? hmmnnn that's weird.. play around with it. maybe you will find out why..

Hey Chirag this is for you!! Well T-mobile don't hve this phone.. but YES it can work with T-mobile service.. i don't know any dealers that sells this phone yet and i don't know the discount you will get when you buy the phone with a contract.. as far as i know i bought mine in a wholesale place.. with a price tag of $470 and yeah its worth every penny of it.. SO HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! loved every features of it!

heh lgadv, where did u buy ur phone from. oi also live in thailand and i heard that this phone hsa many probs. can u tell me where did u buy it from and wad to chek and all to make sure that the phone has no probs...

gwapz. i have cingular too. however, when somebody leaves me a voice message, the screen does not indicate the small icon that says you have a voice message!

hey cola.. im in New York City and using the phone with CINGULAR carrier.. i have no problem at all.. i can't seem to imagine what problem are you having..

For people who has the Nokia 6270. does the screen indiate the voice message icon when somebody leaves a voice message? mine don't!

THANK GOD!! i finally got my Nokia 6270!! awesome phone.. gave me a little goosebumps.. WOW!! thanks to NOKIA!! one of the best constructed design phone! well i haven't play around with it. i will let you guys know what i think! im just letting you know my 2st impression with the phone.. and yeah by the way mine came with 512mb mini SD card.. my 1st question is the wall charger weird? why did nokia do that? that's not user friendly.. i use to use my other nokia charger for every different phone.. now i can't i gotta bring this adapter with me all the time..
anyhow i will post back if i have a problem..

1st of all KiN its not series 600.. its series 60.. and NO!! 6270 is not a series 60 phone!! its a SERIES 40 PLATFORM!! get it? and NO you cannot download series 60 software into a series 40 phone.. it doesn't make sense! its like mixing beer and milk.. they don't get along.. Do you get it?? you can download java software into the 6270..

i would like to ask if 6270 has got sireis 600 so i can put pgogramms on it. siries 600 is something like the software of 6600 , 6260 and more...

I also know peaople who have problems with their Nokia handsets, and I was one of them. 6260 for instance, but that was a result of an undeveloped idea about the construction. I had one and I knew there would be problems even before I bought it, however it was among the first Nokia clamshells and it was the first Symbian clamshell. That was the main reason for the low built-in quality, the rush for the first clamshell smartphone. And now we have 6111, 6270, 6280 which are overloaded with features, but Nokia has previous expirience with sliders (7650, released more than 2 years ago), and I don't think there would be any problems as far as the construction is concerned. Also in my country the finnish Nokia phones are more expensive, even the older ones, and I don't really understand that.
