i just go to Nokia shop to view 6270... it is so elegant.. Now, thinking wether choose 6270 or SE W800i... and btw, 6270 package come with 512mb memory card also...

N70 records videos in resolution 352 x 288, however the frame rate is low, and because of the low-resolution display, the videos look are worse than in 6270

It records videos in QCIF resolution = 176 x 144 pix, against Samsung's and Sharp's 352 x 288 pix

QCIF, search with Google. Something around 176x128 maybe... As I said, use Google.

heh lgadv, where did u buy ur phone from. oi also live in thailand and i heard that this phone hsa many probs. can u tell me where did u buy it from and wad to chek and all to make sure that the phone has no probs...

hey ....just bought this jewel and believe me it's great...the sound quality is awsome ..this phone beats sony and samsung at all categories,trust me it is the BEST...BUY IT NOW..no problems so far

wow, i had the phone for a while. Does the built quality is that bad to go get one from finland.
As for me i'm very happy with my black brown one. the sliding mecanism is easy to use. the bottum of the phone is made for a easy slide up. n for sliding it down, u can see over the navigation key there's a place where u can put your thumb for a easy sliding down. yup yup i'm just waiting for theme now:) i bought mine like a few days only from the release date. didn't have any squeak squeak sound with any button......i must see one from finland to see the big difference

well WILL its not a Symbian OS.. it runs through JAVA like every Series 40 Nokia phones.. Series 60 runs in Symbian like the 6600, 7610, 3650, 6630 etc.. Anyhow what do you mean you wanna know more about the phone? specification wise or experience wise by users? you have to be specific in this forum..
Experience wise.. well i haven't gotten the phone yet.. will be getting it tomorrow.. thank GOD!! finally waiting pays off..
I will tell you the experience when i get it and test it..

I just got my 6270 and i have a question about the small icon saying the you have a voice message.
When somebody leaves a voice message, the screen doesn't show the icon that indicates voice messages.(my old nokia used to show it!!)
Can somebody tell me how i can fix it.

The reason why I said that in my previous post is that lately I heard a lot of people on discussion forums in Thailand complaining that their Nokia phones were not as solid as old Nokia models. The new ones are likely to have worse build quality, i.e.
- number buttons falling off of the handset in N70
- back cover is loosely sticked you can hear noise when you shake it in 6230/i
- the sliding mechanism doesn't work you have to push it through the way yourself in 6270
I know that not every phone will be like this. Luckily, mine isn't.
The point is I always heard about Nokia build quality issues in Thailand but not somewhere else in Europe or other parts of the world. So I just assume that perhaps it's because of made-in-China thing.
Sorry If I'm wrong about this. I really don't want to offend any one. Just my notice.

bought it yesterday. it comes with 512 memory card. Look and Perform real nice !

In Indonesia this phone comes with 512mb card and the price is around US$390. If my husband agrees to accept my SE w550i I bought last month, I think I'm gonna buy 6270 next year.

Someone had just told me that they make a big deal out of Nokia Finland made because.. they said they don't really make alot of phones there.. They only make prototype and 1st wave phones. so they are very rare to get. and yeah since the Nokia Headquarter is in Finland also. So that makes a Nokia Findland made a collectors edition.. Correct me If im wrong?
