Yeah well, I live in Finland. I checked the box of my old 3510i. It said "Made in Hungary". Here a phone is a phone, I havent seen any discussion around differences between Finnish vs. other country made...
I know a guy who works for Nokia, might just ask him when I see him net time.

i don't know Dreadnought.. Like i said in philippines its a big deal.. FINLAND are more expensive than other country made.. Same as Sony Ericsson's Sweden made are expensive!! You should do some research about this and let us know. maybe their screwing people for prices just by the manufacturer country.. if you ask me im not with it! a phone is a phone..

Is the difference between phones made in China and phones made Finland really that big? I mean, they use same equipment and train their workers as they do in Finland.
And one more thing: Does these phones have some kind of guarantee these days? Like one year or so?

this is for you know something i kinda notice that when i visited philippines.. 2 same phones have different prices.. the only difference was the place it was made.. 1 was made in china and the other one was made in finland which is the finland one was expensive than the other one. i don't know what's is up with that. someone had told me is the built and everything.. they told me that finland phones last long than china made nokia phones.. correct me if im wrong..

Can anybody tell me if the 6270 has the Photocall feature??? I would think that it does, in relation to all the other Nokias that do, but it's not listed on any of the spec sheets on any of the websites.
Also, are there any other features that I would miss out on by going with the 6270 vs. the 6280 (besides the obvious camera, 3G, memory, etc)???

FrodoX -- 6270 screen is MUCH better than the D600
Wayne -- I've tried the flash in darkness and i was surprised how good the picture turned out.
lgadv -- yes, the first batch came with 512mb. I got a 512md sd card. build quality: it may or may not be better depending where it was made. but i don't know how you can specify that you want one made in germany vs. china or whatever. even if the build is better/worse, it won't be significantly better/worse.
tatta -- read my previous post. 3 days normal use 1-1.5days heavy use.

can some1 please help me pick a phone...either d600 or 6270. i am really confused on the specs. i have heard the the d600 has tv out. that must be neat. but the 6270 has radio.

Hey guys, I live in the UK and I just bought this phone. And it looks well great. And for the person who asked if a 512-MB MiniSD memory card came with phone, mine didn't, however I did recieve a 128-MB MiniSD.

6270 is a great phone.
It has phone recording upto 1 hr.

The photo quality is great and gives
very good 5"x7" photos
Amazing clarity.
Very Impressive....I love it.
At last I have something...I am proud of.

I live in Thailand. And I heard that 512-MB MiniSD cards comes bundled only with the first batch of the phones. I don't know if it's true. Anyway, I wish I got one too. I've been waiting for it to come out for so long. But now that it's really available, I just think I still love my 6-month-old 6230i. And there're just not enough reasons for me to upgrade the phone. I mean, I love 6270. It seems perfect to me but it's said that the built quality isn't that great (all or almost the Nokia phones here are made in China -- too bad). I just want to know whether it's true that non-china-made Nokia phone is of better built quality than china-made one? Can anyone give the info? Thank you.

Is it really so, that the battery last only 1-1.5 day... for the normal use? If that's right it's useless for every day use! Have anybody exact facts to this battery capacity?
...otherwise I'll buy this phone, if I find made in Finland or Germany!

How's the flash on this thing ? is it bright like the k750? cuz k750 can take pictures in a pitch black room like 10 meters away

i am really confused which one has a better screen. i compared two 65k color screen (6230b and k700), n the k700 was way better (including the menus and speed).
i am debating on a d600 or 6270, can some1 help me out please. i need all aspects. i do like the 6270 looks better though.

no regular headphone jack.
you have to use the one that comes w/ the phone by nokia.

battery life is decent. got 3 days w/ normal use. 1 to 1.5 days with heavy use.
the slider works great. does not seem cheap or wobbly like others say. does not seem like it will break. it is pretty solid.

just wondering,.. for nokia 6270 users.. does it have any problem writing text message if u want to delete the text or want to backscape(usually with the clear (c) button. and how about the copy paste button (the pencil button),.. please anyone reply,.. im thinking buyin it for christmas.. YES in Thailand the phone cost 14800 which is us 350 dollar .. it comes with 512 minisd too.. . theres two color availabe which is dark brown and silver...
