Well, I read the review provided there. It actually seemed that there really wasnt anything else wrong than the construction. And that was mostly a matter of ones liking...

for those that have held this phone in your hands, how does it feel? i read mixed reviews about this phone feeling good and sturdy but i also read that some people thought it felt flimsy, and the spring for the slide action felt "cheap" too. can anyone give more informayion about this? thanks

Never thought that! ;-)
I've only showed the source of my (appearently wrong =)) information. My interest was only in having the right infos and now I've got it.
Actually european site reports MiniSD and so I'm thinking about what kind of information is trading the Nokia italian site.. 0_o
Maybe they're only old (@ Nokia.it you can still read "coming soon" under the 6270..)
Thank you.
However does anybody knows anything about the slider construction?

Paolo4ever, I've checked my infos and here's what I've found:
- about color I've found no official description of the colors: I've seen it on Nokia.it and there's a Java applet showing 4 colors! (1 shown + 3 changeable).
(http://www.nokia.it/nokia/0,0,76322,00.html) The dark one is descripted in many forums/data sheets as "coffee black" so it seem to be more a brown glowing black that a real brown
Shot can be seen in a user review @ mobile-review.com
- about the memory card the package content description reports "Mini Memory Card (RS-MMC) 128MB" (http://www.nokia.it/nokia/0,8764,77369,00.html)
Maybe the data in the italian site are just outdated or maybe it changes by selling country.
I don't know! Here's what I've found =)
When we'll see a review of it in this site? We need it! =)

Except for the radio, Samsung D600 beats 6270 handsdown. I mean the internal memory, the TV Output, the CIF Video (D600), the design, size, & weight. D600 is better in almost every aspect.
Both have QVGA screen but i bet D600's display would be slightly better bcoz of a smaller screen. Both have stereo speakers.
Just hope it's $150.00 cheaper than D600 so i may think of buying this one.

Looking at the previous posts someone asked about the black color and the memory card: both informations are retrievable at Nokia.com. The phone is available in a black/coffee color. The card used is officially said to be a 128mb RS-MMC, not a SD one..
I've heard about problems with the spring slide mechanism: anybody knows anything about it? What about Nokia sliders?
However a great phone IMHO! =)

MLKIDS, if you are talkiong to me and Jav, I just have to asay that the fact that this phone costs about 350 euros and the N80 wil probably cost 600 euros is the reason why I would choose this.

I am between the same phones aswell, Jav. But I think that I am going for the 6270. By the way, I asume that this phone supports "True Tones" though its not mentioned in the specs...?
