I have nokia 6270.It came with 128 MB Mini SD card. It was working fine. But one day i went to option for memory card and choose set password. I put the password. The phone again asked me to confirm password. I put it. But after this the phone just stopped recognising the memory card. Now it does not shows presence of any memory card in the slot. Even nokia PC suit fails ans gives message that ‘There is no memory card”.

it is a awesome phone. it has good features n functions as well.it has got good quality speakers.if any one is reallyinterested in a good mobile phone then he should surely take a "NOKIA 6270".

this is actually a good phone but there really are some bad side of this model. Well basically, i believe that there are only few people knows how troubleshoot there phone once it automatically shuts down over and over. The troubleshooting steps for this should be: take your sim card out of the phone, open your phone (even without sim card, go to delete messages and delete all your sent items first (just in case you don't want to delete your messages on your inbox), and try to insert your sim again and reopen it. If it still doesn't work try to delete your inbox. Also, you are not able to choose the messages that you wanted to be deleted. =)

This is the best phone that i ever have. Nokia N90 is not better than this one. I like 6270 !

Great phone.. everything about is best.. I say why buy N80 if you can get everything in this phone.. Yet the pic quality of n80 is not as good as this phone. This phone has everything you have in N80... also the software i dont have problem of restarting. For guys who's phone restarts.. try to get the latest software on you phone. I m using 2gb memory card. It works fine.. when i said fine means great.. Best phone.

Sound Clarity is superb. No other nokia sounds is better than this. It beats the sound of Sony Ericsson. Stereo Widening effect is superb. Great Phone for sounds.

On the contrary. I really dig this phone...My biggest complain would be the speed of the processor when browing through phone gallery or posting images onto the external memory a bit slow in the upload.otherwise very face when moving through the menu also a bit on the thick side but at this venture thick cause it gots a lot of shzt. but great screen nice, interface, camera is wicked awesome for a phone on in this caliber...was searching for a while and this is the phone ill be sticking with for the time to come...

Someone, please help me!!
I'm in the States and I use a 6270 with T-Mobile. Everything works fine, including the GPRS internet service that I pay $6 a month for. Hwever, I've installed Google Maps and Opera and neither work. When it tries to access the network, I always get "Subscribe to Packet Data First," which I've obviously already done because I can browse the mobile internet with the phone.
Has anyone had this same problem??? Or does anyone know how to remedy this problem??
Please, someone, help me. I'm desperate to use Google Maps.

I like this phone , In fact i did't find any phone Have the same sound speakers Quality, Iam Realy enjoing with this Phone.
If you wanaa find good Sound and Camera, Take it.

a.malik i am sorry but ther is no other way then just throw it away and get a new one coz that mean's that the m.c. is broken try 2 reatrn it or replace it sorry

this phone sucks.... at first it's screen messes up then shuts itself down and it would take a lot of tries until you can open it again (it took me 4 days!) another problem is that it 's suddenly hard to use because it's keys wont work then the next thing you'll know the internal cricuitry called it's "ribbon" is already torn so it would have to be replaced, which is not that cheap! i don't know about you guys but there's a problem with nokia sliding phones..their ribbons are easily torn due to repetitive sliding (how would they like us to use it?). by the way i had my phone for about 8 months.

My younger brother had set the password of memory card now he has forgoten it. Is there any way of retriving the password as i am not able to access the data of the memory card. It contains critical data. Please help
