I bought my Nokia 6270 in April, and just recently im facing a problem where I cannot pick up any signals and the weird thing is my phone was picking up a signal prior to these last couple of days, It sometimes picks up a signal but then lets go of it and i've tried putting in another sim card and it still hasn't worked...can anyone help me with this problem?

it's been the best phone i've had so far, its been a year. however, as of today, the phones OS has been acing wacked. Everytime I turn it on, the OS keeps reseting until it turns off. I don't know where to update the OS and how especially when I can't stay connected on the USB. Could someone please help me in this matter.

My personal opinion about nokia 6270 is that this is the best mobile according to the price. i will suggest all my friends to buy this mobile phone.

Well, the Nokia 6270 is one of Nokia S40 best phones. It is well built and has a lot of good features our technological environment; it is a "on the move" phone. If Nokia ever thought they made a mistake, I will say not with this piece of merchandise. Bravo Nokia! You have done it again.

Hi all,
I have recently bought a new Nokia 6270. I have used a lot of cells, more of Sony Ericsson before this, I have tried
around all Sony Ericsson, Nokia, Motorola cells. I just bought this one after thorough research on the web and checking other specs.I would say this is a lovely cell phone. This is the best cell from Nokia if you leave the N series. Advantages- Very
sharp screen clarity, very good sound from headset and from phone both (comparable to Sony Walkman cells), Easy to use, 512MB memory card, Camera clarity is good and Disadvantages- A little bulky(not recommended for people who like sleek phones), the only disadvantage that I feel is that the body of the cell specially the sliding part tends to loose with excessive or extended use and the body is not so strong like other Nokia tough bodied cells, like 6600. Results- Awesome phone, but then
no phone is without any disadvantage. I would say buy this one, if you want to buy a cell with all the goodies. It's worth it's
price.

hi navita ,
u can change the body of the phone but ur messages will only be saved to the phone memory only . it doesnt have the option to save ur mesaages to the memory card memory.
i m using it from past two months the phone is good but it has only a problem where it gets restarted automatically while u r working on it .

hey man i have some query abt nokia 6270 phone could u help me out on some of thee points
1 is that nokia's 6270's body available
2 is that really any problem with sliding machenism
3 well my phone suddenly get restarted while working is that comman problem
4 n last what abt mpeg4 format video can i play this if yest then what should be the stats

i bought a nokia 6270 and i love it but... the phone will just shut off on me about every 5 to 10 min! if anyone knows how to fix the problem please email me! golferguy998@aol.com!!! thanks

I've had this phone for about 6 months. Two issues that have *bugged* me about this phone:
- The camera quality is bad. It sucks. There is too much grain and night photos are more or less black.
- As you add more and more pictures to your sd card, opening the folder takes more and more time.
Apart from these two, its a decent phone. The audio ROCKS!
