Do you people find that viewing images on the phone is very slow? This is true for my case. My firmware version is 3.69.

hii all,plz can anyone tell me how can i receive the message by the bluetooth on the memory card not the received files on the phone card??? plzz help........but really it's a very baaaaaaaaad mobileeeeeeee...

the 6270 and 6233 actually have almost identical features. both offer 2 mp camera but here are some differences: 6233 has no flash, but it has added effects like sepia, solarize and negative. the 6270 really has more stereo power since it's bigger. 6270 browses fast, but 6233's much better since this is 3g capable. both phones operate on series 40 platform. in the philippines, you can get 6270 with 512mb mini sd while 6233 comes with 64mb micro sd.

yes, the 6270 is capable of handling up to 1gb mini sd. i use two mini sd cards. my 512mb for images, themes and videos while my 1gb stores songs. and the best part is that the phone works definitely fast despite of some comments and some reports by some users.

One thing to note is that there is no voice mail indicator. You won't know if someone left you a voice mail. At least that is true on Cingular network in US. It is really annoying. Is that true in Europe? or Asia?
Battery life is not too good. As with all phone, if you do not get good signal, it drains even quicker. But the phone is quick to recharge.
Camera is ok. If you like good quality picture, it will require more memory. My slider is ok. The phone feels really solid.
I find that it is sometimes hard to hear especially in a noisy environment. Tried using the headphone and I think that is even worse. Have not tried Blue tooth. Maybe that would be better.
Don't have much issue with phone resetting but I do not connect it with my computer at all. I usually just connect the cable to the phone and drag across what I need from my computer to the included 512 memory card.
Finally, I think Nokia made a mistake with the locations of the push to talk button and the volume button. They are located on each side of the phone. That makes it hard to get the phone out of a holder. I am constantly pushing either the volume buttons or the push to talk button..

the "music files" folder can never be moved to memory card, for it is within the phones' system memory. if you go to music files and check on options, the 'move', 'rename', 'delete' items cannot be selected. you need to have songs stored within memory card. what you can store in music files folder are ringing tones coming from parts of songs (like for 20,30 seconds, eg.)
and to abxcsoldier:
you can never change the 6270's housing since the casing is actually forged and is intact to the phone's body. and it's made of aluminum, it's not like other nokia phones that come with xpress-on covers. and that's why this phone comes in three colors, dark brown, dark blue and silver. the 3250's housing cannot also be changed.

hi does anyone know or did remove the housing for this phone?? i see on ebay alot of people selling the faceplate but i have no idea on how to take apart the faceplate it already has on.

Hi I just got this phone. It's pretty cute.
I got a memory card for it, it's 128mb. and I'm transfering songs into my memory card. and It only holds up to like 30 songs.
I tried moving it from the 'Memory Folder' to the 'Music Folder' but I can only fit lik e 1 song in there. So please can you guys help me and tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Hiz Every 1's.....
I m a big fan of nokia... And always favoured for buying only Nokia Cell phones... i came across this Sexy lookin Phone... it is reallyyyyyy nice.... Sounds Quality rockz... and Camera result.. is too good to.... all i want to ask is why is it always happend when i received a call the ringtone always starts low and then after a while it becoms high... i mean to say in ascending... is their any other way to change it... and from where i can download themes (because i cant find any *.nth files on net for this cell.), Ringtones, and softwares......
And how much memory(memory card capacity) can it handle.... Please reply me on my email address...

BIG LET DOWN IN BATTER LIFE>>>>>>
Its battery just stays for one day that too if u dont play Mp3 a lot. I big let down becoz despite big memory card, good sterio widening feature, good resolution its battery life hits badly.
Check before buying this...

Guys, this phone is really good but the negative point is the battery life. If u play music the batery life hits very badly. Earlier I had Son y W550i which shows battery left percentage but this phone lacks that feature.
Nokia 6270 has 512MB memory card, a good scope of music files but short battery life sours the music feature.
I suggest to all who wanna buy phone with MP3 feature pls pls pls check out first the battery life otherwise MP3 feature in phone is waste.
Rest the phone has good resolution, good quality pic, large display for browsing net, wallpaper 7 screensaver looks really terrific in it. I love all feature of it but battery life is a pathetic. nokia should improve its battery life specially phone with mp3 feature.

i bought this mobile last week it's very good and it's price is so nice it is the best mobile i bought and it's not traditional and i'll tell all my friends to buuy it and ilove it so much when i listen to the mp3 in it

hey!! I just bought this phone a week ago, what i can tell here- the phone is awesome!!! It has 3D stereo sound with a cool stereo widening function, the camera also great and it comes with many other great features as well....

preety good looks but the fact that its not symbian screws up thwe fun!! the battery cant even last playing a fully loaded memory card thats a downer sliding mechanism looks not vwery sturdy !! only time will tell ttill then iam stuck with this iguess

I bought my Nokia 6270 in April, and just recently im facing a problem where I cannot pick up any signals and the weird thing is my phone was picking up a signal prior to these last couple of days, It sometimes picks up a signal but then lets go of it and i've tried putting in another sim card and it still hasn't worked...can anyone help me with this problem?
