Answers to some questions
- Yes, this phone runs on symbian OS, but it works on Series 40 platform compared to other Nokia phones like Nokia 6681,6630 which works on series 60 platform.
- This phone is not a Smart phone. Series 40 phones have minmal upgradability i.e extra applications cannot be installed, except for few java ones.
- This phone is best compared with Sony Ericsson walkman phone models W800, etc .... This is because, they can only serve the specific purpose for which they are built, as in the specification sheets, nothing more than that.
- That means these phones will get outdated soon - "not smart enough". Hence their pricing will also drop pretty fast.

I don't understand why you can't update the firmware online. This is a world phone and it needs to be supported wolrd wide via thr internet. I'm in the U.S. and I can't update the firmware....it really sucks!

THe N80 SYMBIAN os like S60 frome ngage to toutch screan like the 6708 .I like this phone since when you do or three things at the same time 2 or three applications running when you pres the spesific menu button and hold it for three sec you see the applications running .
the 6270 Is an excellent non OS phone plug Its not just an excellent phone !It'S possible to listen to music and go back as the music is playng to where you dial numbers to call to the phone menu as

I was plannin 2 buy this phone n was wondering if it would b a nice phone 2 buy please let me know the problem s i`ve liked the shape n stuff but wha about the battery life an what about the problem of recieveing files in the internal memory can they be shifted to the memory card plz mail me at m.arvindh@gmail.com

I have also same problem with this phone. The time in my message details, its not up to date.. is the problem connected to the newest firmware version installed (03.66)?

im sorry if i hav been rude.
So we can by no chance tranfer those files from internal 2 card memory. But itz possible in 6680, 6600,6630,3230 ,6230 and all other series 60 phones. thats weird and impractical!! This is Gr8 disadvantage of dis phone den. is dere any software by which problem can b solved

No, files (no matter the type) which are receivd via Bluetooth or Infrared are automatically saved in the internal memory. Files transferred via USB can be transferred into a custom destination.

hey evrytime othrs got question u answer. but what about me ? pls u guys like Dreadnought or cellboy pls pls pls tel me whether music files (espicaly MP3) received via bluetooth is automatically saved in phone memory and nt in card memory and also cld nt be transferred 2 card memory. Pls HELP URGENTLY!!!

how much video recording i can do with this phone,as this phone contain 512 Memory Card, will it be possible to do full length recording of 1 hour(recording up to the size of 512 mb card ) at one Stretch ...if yes ..How can i do that...pls post the reply...

check the video resolution in the settings to have better video quality
