Oiii,
anybody know how to enable multimedia/voice/picture messages. I thought I could just attach a pic or voice clip to a text message and it would send automatically, but when I tried it yesterday, I kept getting an error message saying something like:
"Multimedia message settings NOT DEFINED. Message not sent."
I went into message settings and can't figure out what to do. Or is this a question of setting something up with Rogers, my service provider? Do I need to pay for the additional mobile Internet/Web service??? I didn't think this had anything to do with my carrier, but maybe it does, or perhaps I'm just missing something to activate on the phone itself?
If someone can let me know what to do, I would appreciate it. Cheers,
CZ

Hey ppl...I have purchased Nok6270 2 days back...I was about to go for i-pod this time, but did a lil research & found 6270 has a gr8 features in it.
+ve points:
1) super pic quality(as it is 2mp)
2) amazing sound quality when you play mp3
3) Owesome advancement in phone features.
4) We can also, kp videos as a screen saver
5) videos can be watched at horizontal mode also.
-ve points:
1) while playing mp3, sometimes the phone asks for "push to talk to s/on" & wen we say 'NO' to it, phone restarts.
2) battery life is just for a day, we have to charge it everyday.
3) phone is very delicate, you need to care a lot.
4) thickness of the phone
Some Queries:
Can we download:
- some interesting softwares in this phone?
- games in it?
- themes?
If so, from which website, we can avail all this?
Any info provided by u guyz, would be highly appreciated...I love this phone & its superb music.
Thx...

I am almost a pride owner of a 6270.
Nice phone, firmware 3.53 with minor bugs.
Only crash once.
The battery gives only for one day (no comments). Sound quality very good.
Lack some stamina for video playback.
If you watch "movies" not filmed with the phone, sound and picture normaly come out of sinc (is not a 3G phone) Only if you use very low bitrates when encoding it will sinc but images quality will be less than satisfatory.
DO NOT USE nokia Pcsuite version 6.7.22 for making backups of the phone data. The restore got my e-mail settings, mms setting, and so on, all ruined.
Also there is no way to say which part you want to restore (setting, agenda, contacts, ..). Version 3.66 is now available in Portugal and I was to preparing the upgrade. Now I am prepared to start configuring evering again ....

Found a few themes on howardforums.com,
Nice phone, feels bulky at first, Vibration noise is a joke TBH, so bad i am turning it off. Its louder than the ringotne at times.
Worried that the slide may not be very good in 6 months, build quality is ok, Push to talk button on the side is a complete PIA.
Anybody know of a good phone editor? PC Suite suk bigtime. Oxygen does not support 6270 and i dont want to pay for mobimb without knowing if its quality

Yes, you can rather clearly see the pixels in video playback. You really can´t call it sharp nor clear but you can still easily identify the object which is filmed.
It´s allright. I haven´t got a chance to compare but no one of my pals have said anything about it so I guess it´s somewhat usual quality.
Wolf, yes, the camera sound can be switched off.

The Nokia LD-3W GPS module will be usable with 6280. I think we can use this with 6270 too.

The caller id enlargement is impossible because the phone's hardware unfortunately doesn't support this.

The 6280 also has got VGA video-shooting against the 6270:s QCIF. The QCIF is quite poor but it´s ok...
