by the way.. i'm not looking for the usual 1-ear bluetooth headset... I'm looking for a stereo head set where I can enjoy listening to mp3s and at the same time use for calls.. samsung's sbh-100 seemed to be a good choice if only i could get it.. =P

a bit off topic here..anybody knows where to buy samsung's sbh-100 bluetooth headset?I read in www.mobilereview.com that the headset is compatible w/ 6270 but it seems I cant find anybody selling it... If u guys know any other good bluetooth headset out there kindly post post it here if its ok.. thnx!

But once you try to copy your sms from the sim card into the phone memory it goes off and you need to download all the software once again. IS IT ONLY ME GUYS?????

Hi Forum,
I have a N 6270. Have you noticed this in your N 6270 camera. When focussing your camera to take a snap and if a TV playing or a bright yellow artificial light is in front of your 6270 camera, you will see a yellow tinge all over the image. This only happens when there is a TV playing or a bright artificial yellow light in focus of the camera. Does not happen when there is enough daylight. But when there is less daylight and you try to take a snap with the above scenario you see a yellow coating in the picture. Can anyone check this and confirm. This problem might be due to the non availability of the auto white balance feature/setting or the lens temperature is fixed and reacts this way to bright lights. Let me know your thoughts.

This forum rocks!...I got some for tips to share. This phone supports mpeg4 playback but not recording(3GP). I have uploaded mpeg4 movie clip mine. It takes ok pictures but u need to change your picture and movie recording settings to decent quality....change the quality to high for both with flash on and in good lighting you should get decent pictures.

I know people that have 1GB miniSD on this phone.. They have no complaint.. They say it works perfect..
I don't know about 2GB, i haven't seen or heard anyone used em.

Seems a gr8 phone. Has anyone tried 1GB or 2GB memory card. If yes then does it support and the overall feedback, please advise as i am thinking of buying this phone.

Limewire, Bit-torrent..
download mpeg or avi.. then just convert it to a 3GP file..
Use the Nokia Multimedia Converter..
Or get yourself a TV-tuner and record your TV shows on your computer and just convert them to 3GP.

Nokia 6270 is the 1st Nokia phone to have dual speaker with 3D stereo sound..
So you figure? like I said 6270 is the 1st.
Camera wise.. hmmnnn.. Its not the best.. But its alright, It can manage..

Just wondering if anybody can recommend some sites where I can dl tv shows/movies in 3gp format.
So far, I can only find some movies and porn in 3gp format that were condensed in .rar format. I was able to decompress these, but I don't really need porn or full length movies on my phone. I def wouldn't mind grabbing some 30 min. tv shows - sitcoms, drama, reality tv, etc.
Anybody know of any sites to get tv shows? Thanks!

Im sorry to tell you. I don't really rely on my 6270 to do some video recording.. I use my JVC hard drive camcorder to do that..
my 6270 camera and video camera is for emergency use only.. If i don't really have a choice. If i just have to record some short clips.

I proven that all the Finland made nokia i had and have are working great..

Hey people,
I have a Nokia N-Gage which has stereo sound...stereo FM and Music player. Just wanted to know if switching to 6270 will be good or not.
How is the sound quality of 6270 as compared to N-GAGE ???? Some say its almost the same as that of an iPod...and how is the sound with the headset connected...I am not much of the loudspeaker person. Ilike to keep the ear plugs on...so how is the HS-23 headset that comes with the 6270???
And also please tell me how is the camera quality, especially the FLASH.

as already pointed out(just doin this 4 all the lazy guys who dont read prev posts)
well i hav this fone 4 bout 2 weeks now....encountered the restarting prob several times now....going back 2 the factory settings does solve this problem....for some time.
MP3 quality is toooo goood...believe me....and on the headset its even better....
Camera is OK 4 2MP standards...but u can take good pics by just holding ur hands steady...
i found that it doesnt support MP4 video...but the specs said so...??..only 3gp till now..
just gotta tell u handle this beauty carefully.....its one sexy beast
plzz giv a list if u can of all the applications this fone supports...i mean the extensions like... .jar, .nth and like ok
